When I needed to replace a bulb I realised the kitchen of my new house was using a whopping 600W of spot lights so I looked into switching to LED bulbs. The problem was that as they were MR16 they ideally need a lower voltage than the existing halogen lights so that meant replacing all the driver transformers which would have been quite expensive with 12 light fittings.These did the job of replacing the drivers and existing fittings and switching to GU10. All worked fine and now only using 48W.Only niggle... why crosshead screws to hold the junction box closed but flat heads for the actual wire connectors?

Ordered Saturday afternoon, arrived Sunday lunch time - excellent service.The items look good quality and are easy to wire in so there's not much more to say - there'ye lamp holders, you wire them in, put a lamp in switch on and it lights. Job done!

These are ideal for converting MR16 12V lamps to 240V where earthing isnt available on the metal downlight lamp holder. These are double insulated connectors so earth is not needed when using these.It would be nice if they made the input side of the connector just a bit bigger so it could cope with two 1mm 2 core cables rather than just the one so that lights could be daisy chained. But otherwise they are very good value and work well.
