Remo RemOs Ring Packs 10"12"14"14"

Cuts out a lot of the overtones to get a studio quality sound without dampening too much of the body of the punch. Great price too. 10 12 14 14 packs are kind of hard to find so I may need to buy a few more in advance.

They do a great job dampening unwanted rings.

Want the perfect sound from your toms for close mic-ing? Get some Remo clear emporer batters and diplomat bottom heads, tune the bottom heads a full 5th higher than the top, and slap these babies on. You'll get a huge fundamental tone that has just enough sustain to avoid sounding "dead" and no high overtones or buzzing. These rings are amazingly durable- I keep them on my drums while transporting in soft cases and they've never kinked or wrinkled; they seat perfectly on my top heads every time.

These are good dampeners and are great for snares especially while using brushes (better than moon gel and brushes). However, the 14” rings did not fit every snare; I had to find snare hoops that worked for the ring. The 10” and 12” were fine. Also, I got two identical 14” rings; I was hoping one would cover more surface area similar to a Big Fat Snare ring; that was not the case in this pack. The rings were not bent or damaged in transit. Overall, good product. But, if you want a larger ring for your snare, get a Big Fat Snare Drum ring; they are amazing! 🤘🏻

I tried the rest, and always come back to REMOS TONE CONTROL rings. The REMOS hold up to lots of battering, brushing, and moving around. Even in and out of drums bags or cases (1 little tape to the rim), they hold up nice, straight, always just the right contact to the drum head for great tone control. The other brands are wider, too flimsy, get in the way with brushes, and don't tone control just enough.

These will get you a nice punchy modern drum tone with good stick definition.

They work great on Tom toms

Bought to further deaden the Remo Pinstripes, but not effect when used with those.
