I bought this because it says in the description that it’s transfer rate of 480 mps. This was the only reason I bought it. I have one that does 100mps. When it came the box says 100mps. I looked again at the product details, the description says 480 mps but if you look at the details lower on the page it contradicted the description. Feels like I got scammed.

Does an excellent job for a wired connection

Very easy to use, plug in play. I used it to connect my Amazon fire tv cube to my TV. Works great.

Worked as expected. Cords a little short but not enough to lose a star.

Unlike the other two I tried, this does provide power to the Firestick, and the ethernet connection worked.However . . . it turns out there's little point, because using a browser on Firestick, the only reason to use the darn thing, is hopelessly awkward. So I tossed the Firestick. Oh well, can't blame that on this device, can you?

I bought this to connect to my Amazon firestick. It is easy to set up and do far the connection is great. I wanted to hardwire for extra stability.

Gave my a steady signal much better than relying on WiFi

I bought this as an ethernet connection for my Amazon Fire Stick Gen 2. It seemed to work fine as I could see the green and yellow lights blinking on and off, but as I tried to stream, I kept getting a "no connection" error message. I unplugged and plugged the Fire Stick and it seemed to do the trick, but then a few minutes later, I would get the spinning circle of the abyss (I'm sure there's another name for it).I tried experimenting (not like in college) and it seemed initial download speed was slightly lower than what I was getting with WIFI (less then 12mbps) and then after a few minutes it would drop dramatically (like Oscar-worthy dramatic).I'm returning this and opting for the Amazon Fire Stick Ethernet Adapter. Fingers crossed!
