My booster jump kit the clamps were cheap and broke. BUT these new clamps I bought are strong made and work great on my booster jump start kit. Thanks. And they weren't Expensive. And I got them fast..

Used these to replace the old ones on my large old school battery charger. They clamp great on the terminals for a tight connection. Wish I would have installed them years ago. Great value

The crimp terminals that are supposedly for 1ga cables are too thin and of poor quality and design, however the actual clamps and handle covers seem fully up to the task once 3rd party 1ga copper crimp terminals are used instead of the included ones.There is no way the included wire termination terminals will pass 800 Amps, which the clamps claim as their rating.The clamps look like they will, but the wire termination terminals are way too small to pass even 400 Amps without glowing red hot, burning the copper.Lucky for me I actually assumed that is what they would send, so I ordered proper thick terminals for my 1ga welding cable.I now have a lifetime set of 22 foot long jumper cables that can start a car or truck that does not even have a battery under the hood...If they included better wire terminals made to actually pass 800 Amps and made to reliably hold onto large cable, I would have rated the set 5 stars.My lower rating is 100% related to the poor quality ring terminals they have the audacity to claim can withstand 800 Amps.The actual clamps obviously can...If you want the last set of jumper cables you will ever need, these clamps are good for that if you toss their ring terminals and buy real ones that are not made for 18 or 16 gauge sheet metal...For the price, I don't care that their provided ring terminals are not worth using with the clamps.I suggest you use contact cement to attach the handle covers, otherwise they don't stay on because they fit too loose.The clamps themselves are of high quality... It's the accessories that suck.Still worth buying.

I bought these because they were rated for 800 amps and they might be. But they are cheaply made, the teeth are barely riveted in, the copper clamps that attach the wires are very thin. If I had not already messed up the clamps that attach wire to the big clamp (I had to get heavier duty replacements) I would send these back. Not happy with these at all!!!! I would have given a lower rating than 1 star if i could've!
