Intex 54945EG Metal Frame Pool Set, 15-Feet by 48-Inch

My yard is not level so I had to remove a lot of dirt so I would have level ground. This took me a couple weeks to do since I could only work on it after I got home from work. After I had the area prepped and all set to go for the pool, I removed everything from the box and had the pool set up by myself in less than an hour. Took a couple days for me to fill since I could not do it all in one day. After it was all set up and filled with water the pool was a blast for my daughter to play and swim in and nice and relaxing for me to float in. Very good construction and surprisingly sturdy. A few things I suggest. Even tho this is easy to set up, you need to watch youtube videos to get ideas on prepping and setup. Also use some bricks to place under the support legs of the pool. Make sure the bricks are level with the ground and not sitting on top of the ground. If so, when the pool is full with water it will push the sides of the pool out and can rub up against the bricks and puncture the lining. Without the bricks the support legs will sink into the ground from all the water that splashes out. And finally, make sure to purchase this... Intex 120V Krystal Clear Saltwater System CG-28667 with E.C.O. (Electrocatalytic Oxidation) for Above Ground Pools. It is well worth it and leaves the water very clear.

This thing is TERRIFIC! Was a bit skeptical but no more...my 8 year old loves this 15 foot pool and we can hardly get him out. Easier to assemble than I'd expected. Aside from a hard day of leveling yard, pool went up in about an hour with minor assistance from wife. Looks nice and no structural issues even though I didn't get yard completely level. Pump and filter work like a champ and water stays crystal clear. Cover is a pain, bit we don't really pit it on as the kid is always in it. 300 dollars to fill form water delivery company and we were in business. Even adults enjoy floating in it. Could not be more pleased and wish I'd bought this 2 years ago.

You really can't beat this pool for the price. We are very happy with the purchase.The pool was easy to set up, though I think the 30-60 minute estimate for set-up was a little crazy. It took two of us at least 2 hours. On a side note, we live in Arizona and setting this up in the heat of the summer might not be the greatest idea...the sun heats the pool siding and metal supports very quickly and, as a result, the metal rods can be difficult to feed through the plastic loops. We love the pool though. We just wish the steps were a little deeper, but I think the pool'sWe did run in to one problem...the included filter pump was dead-on-arrival. A quick call to customer service resolved the issue and, after faxing them the receipt and shipping info as proof of purchase, they sent a new pump. However, I felt that the processing time was too long and the shipping method should have been expedited. After all, 4000+ gallons of sitting water can get dirty very quickly without the pump. I sent my info to customer service on a Saturday morning. I believe the pump was shipped on Wednesday via ground shipping and I received the pump on the following Saturday (one week total time, from California to Arizona). The new pump works nicely.If I had to buy another above-ground pool, I would buy another Intex.

If you have the space for it this is a great pool. I put half of it up on my own before help arrived. Took probably 2 hours to complete it. Took 10 hours to fill, and 2 days to warm up. I don't like the ladder it feels flimsy but so far it has held up with no problems. Do not use walmart chemicals! I would suggest going to your local spa shop and getting it from them as it will be worth it in the long run. A clorine dispenser will make your life a lot easier as well. Unless you have a big cement slab to place it on it's hard to level it but I have a 2 in difference between the 2 sides and it does not seem to damage it at all. Well worth the price and now I don't have to fight the beach or local pool traffic to swim!

This pool is perfect and the setup is EASY, just like it says. I've never had a pool before this one and I was not feeling confident about being able to manage the set up and care of one, but this kit makes it simple. The directions are straightforward and two people can set this pool up in an hour. If you order this I suggest you also order a set of pool chemicals with clarifier, shock oxidizer, ph increase/decreaser, and chlorine. Also order Type A filter replacements and a pool skimmer. Everything else is included!It's the perfect depth for my 9 year old and her friends- the water comes up to their chests. It seems very sturdy too, no bulges or ripping. We do use a bungee cord or two to secure the cover as it has a tendency to slide off.
