some more natural soaps lose their scent in the first few washes, but this one lasts until the very end! quality scent, quality ingredients, feels great on the skin in the winter or the summer. i buy these by the carton so i always have a backup.

This soap smells amazing. My husband is obsessed with it and I'm obsessed with how it makes him smell. It last a really long time and cleans your skin without drying your skin out. I highly recommend it.

Yes, it contains palm oil. This is a product made in India. India has been using palm oil for centuries. With concern for environmental sustainability, India has passed legislation targeting these concerns. Possibly if the manufacturer would list ingredients before purchase, they could avoid negative reviews. Palm oil does have anti-inflammatory and healing properties.As for the soap itself. When I first opened the package, the smell of Nag Champa was exactly like the incense I burn daily. The lather was luxurious, but not so much for that it left residue around the drain. It rinsed down quickly. The smell is not strong at all, I could barely smell a hint on my skin, but I burn incense daily, so maybe I'm used to it. My partner smelled it as soon as I sat next to him on the couch. Yes, there is a residue on your skin from the various oils, including aloe, olive, and Shea, that once your skin is dry, feels as if you already moisturized. My skin is very sensitive, I had multiple bug bites, and heat rash (happens to me every summer) upon entering the shower. This soap was so soothing, I have absolutely no itching, and the red bite marks have faded, no more irritation. And my skin is so soft.I will definitely keep my eye on the palm oil situation in India, but as of now, this soap has done exactly as I hoped, calm my irritated skin, a hint of Satya Nag Champa scent, and left my skin soft and smooth.Update: I finished the bar, weather cooled, and I figured mosquito season ended. Within 1 day those buggers found me. I'm covered in bites, with 2 on my elbow becoming infected. Just ordered another bar. If it wasn't for the palm oil thing, I'd give this 5 stars

Love this as hand soap. Smells just like nag champa, just wish the smell would stay longer.

I am disappointed in the quality of this soap. I’ve been buying this particular soap since last year. The formula has definitely changed. The soap does not have the same smell it use to have. I’ve also noticed the ingredients changed and also contain edta.

Nag Champa soap works great! I've always loved the smell of nag Champa. They have a body oil too. It could be a bit cheaper but....
