This was purchased for my boyfriend's swashbuckler costume. I wanted something that didn't look like a child's toy but I didn't want to spend a ton of money either. He was VERY pleased with this purchase. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a little heavy. My boyfriend is a big strong guy but I'm a little worried it might get annoying after a while. But it looks so good that he may not mind!

Ifyou are using it for costume and just hanging it from your belt it looks great. the reason i gave it a 3 is because the blade is turned so if your holding it the edge faces to your left. i dont want to pay extra fees and am just using it for a custume so it will do.

Thought I was buying a prop sword for a costume but a was I surprised. This is a super nice sword. Great material.

Nice cutlass
This is a nice HEAVY cutlass. It is VERY sharp so be careful. I used it for a photo shoot and filed the edge off with a metal file. The detail is nice. It seems a tiny bit short, but it looks nice enough. Would buy it again.
