Works like a charm. Thanks.
This tool saved us a LOT of time compared with trying to cut flooring with a handheld knife. We did a bedroom per day and didn't need to sharpen it until the end of the second bedroom. Easy to operate, sturdy. It might seem spendy, but because it saves time and makes beautiful cuts, it's a great tool. Thanks.

Huge time and effort saver
Although it cost as much as a cheap miter saw, this was well worth the cost for a whole home flooring project. I cut roughly 1800 sq ft Flooret LVP with a stone core, and the blade still makes fairly sharp cuts with no sharpening or honing.I debated between this and the smaller model. Ultimately I purchased the 13" cutter because it appeared to be higher quality. I also wanted the larger size in case we opt for LVT anywhere in the house.Being able to make cuts in the work area without even getting up was a huge time saver, not to mention the reduced cleanup. It's not entirely mess-free, but it's close. Nothing compared to cleaning up dust from saw cuts.

This thing works.
These are fantastic because you can cut right next to where you're laying flooring. They make no mess, and they are quiet, so you can work late at night. You can't get a miter saw for this price that will cut 8" wide flooring, but you could throw a little money on top and get a nice one. Only problems with miter saws are: they make a huge mess (especially when cutting vinyl flooring) so you really need to use them outside, because they are so loud you cannot continue working into the night (neighbors will not appreciate), and it is hard to make very small precise cuts. I used this shear to cut a little triangular corner fill piece about 3/8" across, and had to shave a 16th or so off of it for proper fit. Have fun doing that with a miter saw. Overall great tool. The ability to cut 45 degrees, or any angle under that, is really nice. The price hurts a little bit at first, but if you're doing any large amount of flooring you'll be happy you bought it.

Great cutter
This cutter worked great! Made perfectly square, precise cuts on about 1200 sq ft of LVP. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Cut was made a 1/16 too long? No problem, just slide the plank back in the cutter and slice off that extra sliver. Last cut was just as precise and easy as the first. This tool is built to last and love that it is made in the USA!

Great tool for Pro or DYI
Great tool to have when installing LVP. Have to press down firmly to make sure pad/backing is cut completely. No problem for flooring without pad attached. Cleaner, faster than using power saw.

Upfront cost is a little high but it's worth it
For $300 and $70 per replacement blade it seems over priced for what you get but what I saved on doing the flooring myself it was more than worth it. I originally purchased a $60 chop saw blade for installing 1200 sq ft of laminate but after seeing sparks during my first cut and the blade going dull within the first 300 sq ft. I took the plunge and purchased this unit. Now since getting it I have installed the other 900ish sq ft of laminate, 400 sq ft of LVP and 10 square of Hardie siding all with the original blade. (This model only opens up to 5/8" thick and is advertised for flooring but it worked great on hardie, I just cut my 5/4 trims on the saw. This is something I am always going to use and will last a long time if treated right.

Worth the money. Must have!
I used this to cut Luxury Vinyl plank with the cork underlayment attached. It was Nucor brand from floor and decor. This cutter had zero issues making clean and precise cuts throughout the entire flooring install. I would highly recommend this product. I did have to cut a few boards lengthwise which this product does not do. The amount of shavings and dust from the table saw was incredible. Having zero shavings or dust from this cutter made it worth the cost. You can have it right there next to you in the room which makes it convenient. I would recommend this to anyone.

Don't lay a Luxury Vinyl floor without this
The product worked great. Cut a nice clean line and did so quickly. Cut install time, of areas that didn't need special cuts, by at least half. Eliminated dust and mess. I bought the wider cutter for the wider LVT that looks like Tile. This was a professional tool. I am thrilled I didn't cheap out on a tool that was "kinda OK" and fails quickly. I expect this tool to have many years of use.
