Looks very nice. Material is ok. The jacket is a little wide around the waist. It has a straight cut.

This was a great purchase and was perfect for my naval officer character for a Murder Mystery dinner. I read all the reviews for similar items on Amazon and was a bit worried about the negative reviews across all products but I was not disappointed at all with this purchase. This costume had the most detail and style and looked quite sharp (my wife loves a man in uniform - who knew?). Sizing was exactly as indicated in the selection sizing chart. Don't expect this to be military grade as it is just a costume, so yes, the white is a bit sheer but easily solved by simple choice of undergarments. My sizes matched coat and pants, no missing buttons or loose stripes, the hat was surprisingly comfortable for my big head. Yes it was wrinkled from being folded in packaging, but looked great after ironing.

I am 6’ 3” and usually wear 36” pants and a 44” jacket so ordered the large size. The outfit was still way too big for me. I would have returned and exchanged for the medium except for the hat which was way too small for my average sized head. The hat is not adjustable, and would have been better made with elastic at the back like the pants have for it to be a one size fits all hat. It is a sold piece with no give so it will either fit or won’t.

I was surprised at how nice this costume was. We ordered it for a murder mystery party that was cruise ship themed. My husband was the captain and so purchased this. The hat was actually really nice but the gloves were too small to wear. It was a cheap costume, so be prepared to wear something underneath it. It's completely see-through. He ended up just wearing jeans and a t-shirt under it. So there was enough space to fit all of that material underneath the costume. It would be great for a cold night of trick-or-treating! It's also pretty cool that it's so customizable. You could be in the Navy, a captain, or in the Air Force.

Runs very, very large. Fabric is very thin and see through. The pockets flap buttons are sewn on but dangle from the pocket and look pretty bad.

5'9" 230. 38 inch waist 52 chest. Fit perfectly. Very comfortable.

I can't say I expected too much from this, as it is pretty cheap. Don't expect a movie prop, but it looks fine from a distance. My real concern is the sizing. Having a 40 inch bust, I went for the medium, which is listed as being 38-40 inches. I saw that many others have said that it runs large, so that sounded like it should work. I wouldn't be too troubled if it were an inch or two off, but that is nowhere near the case. The "medium" I received had a bust of approximately 50 inches! This is what they advertise their XXL measurement to be. Basically, order about 3 sizes too mall, and you should be fine. Unfortunately for me, they don't have an extra-extra-small size to fit my totally average adult size body.
