Q: would these be good and warm to give to the homeless?

I don’t know. They are nice blankets for moving, but I’m not sure how warm they are or how they would hold up if they got wet.

Q: Where are these manufactured?

The ones we were sent were very poorly made, and from China. We returned them.

Q: Has anyone used these on wooden furniture that was recently oiled? Very concerned about possible color transfer and staining of the wood.

We are a wood furniture manufacturer and we use these on Oiled Walnut. I have not heard of any issues with these blankets and we have been using them for a few months now.
