Great protection
These sailcloth’s have been doing a great job of providing both sun and moderate rain protection over my camper.

Good Value, Long Lasting
I just re-purchased this item that I had originally gotten 10 years ago, the original is still going strong and should last me another 10 years. I keep these up 5 months of the year in very hot, dry, windy conditions. Very durable product, It was even cheaper this time from the same retailer.

Great but you’ll need your own hardware
We are on our second set of these. The first set lasted three years. I will let you know that we had to buy hardware to install these safely ($100) we live by the beach and the wind can pull these down and really whip around! If you got hit in the head it would really hurt. We bought stainless steel cables and quick disconnect clips FYI. Hope this helps!! The rope it comes with is really flimsy. We love having them by the pool. Also, husband is reminding me that the grommets will break and he reinforced those with the quick clips.

looks and functions great. Handles wind better than expected
looks and functions great. Handles wind better than expected. My pool was reaching 95F, so we were looking for something to help maintain a lower water temperature. We have no shade, throughout the day, around the pool. We use a polaris fountain to drop temps at night, but it doesn't have a big enough effect in the our hot southern sun. In the past month of using the shade, over our pool, we've been able to keep water temps below 90F.We've installed it, so that one person can lower it within a few minutes. We've had a few summer storms form unexpectedly, when we didn't get a chance to lower the shade. The shade whipped around a bit in the wind, but made it through undamaged

My yard is way cooler and looks great too. Nice huge size sail!
I love these shades! I have several in my yard and patio. We get some pretty harsh sun in the summer despite this being SoCal. The trick to setting up is to really put on some bolt anchors and visualize the best angles. If you are a sailor - you should have no problems since you know knots and how to best tighten a sail so it doesn't luff. I also find that if you use outdoor plastic coated laundry line, you don't have to worry about mold or other issues and it doesn't stretch, allowing better leverage for tightening. I use several carabiners. First, I loop the line through the the bolt that is attached to the house, anchor point, tree, etc... then I tie a bowline knot to create a loop. Then I hook on a carabiner to it I then loop the line through the metal eyelet on the sail and also tie a bowline - keeping in mind that I want as tight a connection. I pull hard on one and hook it to the carabiner in the middle, and if necessary, adjust one of the lines (to the sail or to the house...) until I get a tight enough connection. On the final corner, I use a tightening hook so I can get maximum tension. In any case you will have to adjust a few connections until you get it right. It helps to have spacial awareness so you can visualize it. My yard is way cooler, the sails are an inexpensive way to cover a big area and they look great (if you do them right...)

Dimensions are not accurate.
Dimensions are not accurate.. 20x20x20. All sides where different lengths. 2 of My brackets where almost 22’ apart and I had no problem connecting them with only a d ring. Could not use turnbuckle to tighten. Otherwise the sail looks good. So far It has been holding up to some strong winds..

Perfect for over the Pool
We did have to buy the hardware to attach it to the brick and house but it holds up very well. Provides ample amount of shade and it even feels cooler underneath it. Family enjoyed it for a pool party :) With the hardware this is perfect! I recommend :)
