Brilliant best file I've bought.

For hard skin and calluses this rasp is amazing. Within a couple of minutes my feet were done, and what's really good is it's teeth are arranged to cut hard skin, but only depress soft skin. Meaning you can't over do things and injure yourself accidentally. Once down to soft tender skin it's reluctant to cut anymore. This is a neat safety feature.If like me you have tried the similarly priced black handled rasps (with a plain silver metal file), and been totally underwhelmed with their performance, then you must buy this rasp. It's night and day different. I was genuinely surprised at how quick and effective it was!And no, I don't have a relationship of any kind with the seller!Fully recommended.

Definitely works well. I used it on dry skin. However I did end up with 3 cuts ..it is very very sharp so be careful ....especially as it takes away the hard skin and gets closer down to the lower layers of skinBe extra careful near bones. Where the skin is very thin. So I ended up with a painful cut near the edge of the foot on the bone under the little toe on the outside edge ..and the bone under the big toe...on the round mound ball of skin under the big toe; on the left hand side near the edge of the footAnywhere where you can feel bone just be very light handed and careful. Around the heel area as there's not so much bone then you can go abit harder on the heel and I had no cuts. Just at the top of the feet either side at the top on the left and right where you feel the bones easier under the skinI also gently filled the toe skin lightly and that was ok as there was no bones in that fleshy mound of the toes...or at the base of the toes at the top of the foot I had hard skin there and I gently filled that away. I had a thick ridge of hard skin at the bottom of the toes and that filed away gently no worries ..I did have to apply some plasters on the cuts for an hour until it stopped bleedingI washed the file with water after use. Left it to dry ontop of the radiator which was on ...and applied Palmer's cocoa butter in the round pot the thicker balm, popped on a pair of thick socks....and let that soak in and went to bed overnight wearing the socks with cocoa butterMy feet have felt abit tingly for a few days and sore on the cuts. Only to be expected ...I'm certain il go gentker next time I use the file as I know where to be more careful nowGiven it's done such a good job I'm not sure il need to use it again for a few weeksHope this advice helps someone. But definitely worth buying. I read that someone said it went blunt after a while. Well for a fiver who cares. Id happily just bin it if it went blunt and buy another one ..but for now it's very sharp so don't feel it'll blunt anytime soon.

When it arrived I thought it was a cheese grater sent to me by accident.Of course I thought that couldn’t be the case and gave it a shot and I was so shocked at how much dead skin came off and how easily!You can use it on dry skin or wet. I find it more satisfying on dry.Can’t recommend this enough to get rid of any hard dry skin or calluses!

I have a skin condition which means I continuously grow extra skin layers that need to come off. I had snapped my last file and the itching caused by the build up was driving me mad. I bought this file on basis it was metal and wouldn’t snap. Good price, arrived on time and did the job quickly…. Bliss , my feet feel so much better!
