Playmobil The Movie Rex Dasher's Porsche Mission E

I bought this just for fun as a fan of Porsche and the Mission E in general but was very impressed with the quality of this set. That being said, I’ll get my only complaint out of the way. There’s no foam or plastic to hold everything in place in the box- they arrive loose in the box wrapped in plastic bags. Nothing was broken or damaged so I guess it works though. Once you unpack everything, assembly is very straightforward and the instructions are clear and helpful. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. The car looks great with screen printed details for the Porsche crest and “Mission E” badges on the side skirts. It would look excellent just as a display piece on its own. The RC component is a very fun addition though and more refined than most “toy grade” RCs. For example, the rear axle has a differential instead of being directly driven off the motor. The steering is proportional as well as the throttle and you have multiple top speed settings via the remote. You can also turn the lights on and off from the remote. There’s even a built in brake light feature- as you let off the throttle, the tail light gets brighter for a second to simulate brake lights. The car is rather low and doesn’t have suspension so it’s best suited for indoor use. It’s still plenty of fun though!

This car was the star of Xmas at our house! My 6-yr-old niece absolutely loves it and plays with it all the time. I didn’t realize the car has headlights and taillights. So cool! Be aware - the car and remote require a total of 7 AAA batteries. It’s also nowhere near as big as the box indicates. The car is the size I was expecting from Playmobil.

It's a very cool Playmobil toy. I never realized they made it in RC version.You can control speed and it has on/off switch for headlights/taillights.Don't use it on the carpet - it will barely move.Pretty fast on hardwood flooring.Nevertheless, we watched Playmobil movie in the cinema and my 6 years old asked right away to get Dasher and Porsche set (how did he even know that existed? 😲 ).

Kid is very happy. You get a lot for the money. Playmobil toys are usually a good investment at our house: get played a lot, seldom break.

Ever since I myself was a kid I had Playmobil and now that I started collecting these for my son I get to remake those memories now with my son, if you don't know anything about Playmobil they are made with quality and they aren't that expensive, I've had sets for over 25years and I've given them to my toddler, he loves the cars and the ability now to control it himself, only problem I have is the motor for the car isn't the strongest and stopped working after a few months.
