You won't find a better budget beginner Uke than this I think.
I bought this as a present for a 7 year old who wants to learn to play. I've played guitar and banjo for over 30 years so know something about stringed instruments.I chose this one for the mahogany top (and back). That is a step up from the laminates usually found in this price range. I also liked the classical headstock more usually found on bigger instruments and guitars, and the bridge pins as opposed to a threaded bridge. There are no rough edges and the frets are smooth. The inside is also tidy. That it has an inbuilt tuner (and that works exceptionally well) and pick up, is just incredible at this price. I would also point out that the tuner will also tell you what any note is that you are playing. That is very useful for a child (or adult even) learning to read music at the same time.Okay, so how does it play? Remarkably well. It has a good volume and the sustain is very decent. It has a slight banjo tone to it which I really like. The intonation is also good. I really struggle to find fault with it. This is a well made instrument with a lot of class that punches above its price tag. A very beautiful soprano ukelele.It also come with more than adequate bag, and a spare set of strings, peg removal tool, spare pegs, plectrums, a pick up lead, cleaning cloth and spare batteries for the inbuilt tuner and pick up. That's a lot of ukelele and extras for the price. In fact, I like it so much I am going to order a second one for myself :)

Excellent ukulele
I have been playing the ukulele for over 20 years. This is an outstanding ukulele for the price. It is very well built, looks and sounds wonderful (Aquila strings). Easy to tune, plays great through the amp. Gig bag well padded. I have played many expensive ukes, and I would value this over some of those.

Great little uke
Excellent uke complete with pick up, tuner and strap with case. Unbeatable for the money. Sounds and plays really nicely. Wasn't expecting much from the pick up but it is really good with three band eq.

A great instrument for the price
This is a great looking and sounding instrument with exceptional value for money with everything you need.... I'd of given it 5 stars but the tuners aren't 100% positive but for this price you really can't complain...

Amazing Sound
The media could not be loaded. I needed a new uke for a big gig! This one has a HUGE sound and a very small price! Rarity! I’m so happy and I can’t wait for my big day :)
