Just what I needed for a replacement.
I bought this as a replacement for my broken mirror on a 2005 Ford Taurus. Amazon warned me that this does not fit my make/model, but they were wrong: the metal piece is the exact same size as the one on my windshield and I simply said the new mirror over the already connected metal piece and tightened it with the include screw. The small size is preferable for me because I already bought a cheap dash cam mirror that connects on top of it, so being smaller let's me position the camera better. This is just what I needed, even if it's smaller and hard plastic.

Plain and simple... it dies not fit ...
Plain and simple...it dies not fit my 92 f150 as the ad stated. Mounting base is to wide by a 3/16" to even fit the OEM tab on the windshield.
