Worked great
I use two of these in order to power "airMAX NanoStation 5AC Loco" point-to-point bridge units (24v) from my Unifi POE switches (48v).Works as intended. I have these paired with Ubiquiti's gig ethernet surge suppressors, and they work fine together.

Works with my old G3 cameras
I have some older G3 cameras that I needed to change from 24V passive due to my Unifi Gen 2 16-port switch not having that option to send POE down the line. I put these inline at my patch panel and voila, 802.3af was sent to my old G3 cameras and they connected no problem. 100% recommended for this situation.

converts standard POE to 24v poe
If you have some of the older access points that are powered by 24v yet your switch is the newer 49v standard this device will convert the voltage for you. Most switches (like Cisco) do not support 24v. Not sure why Ubiquiti used 24v in the first place, the good news is that the newer Ubiquiti AP's use 48v.This device eliminates extra cabling and power bricks in your network racks.
