My NP prescribed this to me for some hormonal issues (my cycles were consistently only 23 days after coming off birth control). Since consistently taking this, my cycles are now 25-26 days and my periods don’t last as long. I’m very impressed so far!

For anyone on the fence about this it is TOTALLY worth it. Little back story, I delivered my son last March and ever since then I had suffered from irregular spotting between periods. In august I got covid and the spotting got extremely bad. Almost like a month long period. After SO many test and doctor visits my doctor decided that it was a hormonal imbalance. She decided to put me on birth control. I was hesitant but I was SO tired of bleeding that I would try anything. Well, the birth control didn’t help at all. In fact, it actually got worse. My periods were so heavy several times I had to go to the doctor because I was bleeding so heavy and I also had times I was in so much pain. In January I found a holistic obgyn! She took me off birth control and put me on this! I am on my third bottle and my spotting and heavy periods have improved SO much! My period only last like 3 days this past month!!! I’ll keep you updated, but as for now the fem guard has balanced my hormones and I feel so much better.

I have been using DFH for years, over 10. It was recommended by a Functional Medicine practitioner at a time when you could only order directly from their website via a practitioner's access code. When I saw it was available on Amazon, I was skeptical, and continued ordering directly from them. One day, I called and asked if they were affiliated with Amazon because it would actually be time saving for me to order from here. I was told DFH are the ones who fulfill the Amazon orders, therefor it is guaranteed authentic.I just recieved my replenishment of products. Like others have stated in reviews on their other products, I am so upset at the fact that the bottles are now in plastic, which may not seem like a big deal to some, maybe even preferable to avoid breaking, but it is actually a very big deal. I won't get into it here, but if you're interested, look up why amber glass bottles are far superior for storing - especially for food grade anything. However, not only has the packaging changed, the formula on my other supplement has as well. Fortunately, I still had some left from the original bottle, so I was able to compare. Many of the ingredients went down in percentage for their amounts, some ingredients completely gone, while additional additives now included like silicone dioxide - an anti-caking agent. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original bottle of this FemGuard +, so I am unable to compare the ingredients. If any of you still have some left, please DO NOT throw it out until you receive the new one. This way you can see if anything has changed. This is all very disappointing. I purchased this product on the advice of my homeapathy Dr. I was having awful pelvic pain at certain times each month for YEARS due to either endomitriosis, or a possible ovarian cyst. I've been to an OB many times, but aside from recommending prescription drugs or surgery, they were unable to help. My general practitioner kept encouraging me to stay on birth control pills to regulate my hormones, but I wanted a more natural option since I don't feel comfortable or safe taking the pill for long periods of time. In any case, the naturalist I spoke with put me on several powerful vitamin supplements, along with FemGaurd + Balance. Now I want all of the women out there to know this is a 100% genuine review. Since I started up with the FemGaurd, I've hardly had any pain at all. I still feel pangs here and there, but overall I'm pain free most of the time. On the days when I do have pain, it's much more manageable than before. It never ruins my day. I know this is not the answer for every woman out there, but if you are having problems with hormone imbalance, I would encourage women to at least give this product a chance. I've used this great brand of supplements for years now. Femguard was recommended by my accupuncturist in order to ease the process of menopause. I'm 52, my periods ist less frequent now but I don't have any of the side effects related to menopause. I will continue to take 4 pills a day until I'll need something stronger.
