We're potty training and had a foam potty with steps that you had to set up each time. This is so easy because it's a matter of just flipping down the lid. We didn't want potty seats taking over all the bathrooms so this was a great way to share our bathroom with the toddler. He can flip the lid down on his own and it's easy to clean (much easier than the foam ones). Good quality toilet seat, seems sturdy and looks good. The magnet works great to keep the potty seat up when used by an adult and will use for several years until he's big enough to use a real seat. Went back and got these for all our toilets. If you're on the fence, just get this - you'll be happy.

I LOVE this seat cover. It was a huge pain to use the removable seat covers/potty seats for my son and he would get worried when it would slide around and was hesitant to use it. This helped IMMENSLEY with potty training as it was secure and easy to pull down and put back up for him and everyone else in the house. IT seems to be very high quality and it overall a very nice toilet seat as well, not just nice that it was a smaller top seat that comes down over the regular seat. It was very easy to install and the magnet is strong enough to hold up the top seat when not in use with no issue but not so hard my 3 year old (now 4) had any trouble pulling it down himself. It is also so much easier to clean than removable seats or potty seats as there are no crevices to harbor bacteria and I can just spray it all down and wipe it clean!

This seat very well made and the hardware makes it look high end. The child seat is perfectly sized for my toddler.I have a few issues though. The first is that there were no installation instructions with it and the bolts are not your standard bolt. Unless you go to the website and watch the installation video, you will think that you were given the wrong size and will wonder what the other two plastic pieces are for. This must be a common concern because when I called customer service, the man immediately knew why I was calling without me having to explain myself, then directed me to the video. Once you know how to work the bolts it does install easily and very securely.The next issue I have is that the adult seat opening is very wide. If you don't have a big butt it can be a little uncomfortable. My oldest son is too big for the kid seat and too small for the big seat. I also feel as though I'm falling into the hole when I'm on it.The last issue is that it's very difficult for my toddler to pull down the kid seat. In fact, he can't do it at all. This makes developing a sense of potty autonomy impossible. However, this is also a good thing because the potty seat won't ever fall on you when you're sitting on the adult seat. And it allows for the potty seat to be easily stowed when you close the lid.In spite of the issues I mentioned, this is the best of the built in potty seat lids I've found. I tried another one that was plastic. This one is so much better and not having to mess with a removable potty seat is great.

Toilet seat has been great and very nice with kids. After 2.5 years from my original purchase we did have an issue with the magnet starting to pop out. I reached out to the company and in less than 24 hours they had mailed me a brand new replacement. Absolutely top notch customer service and a company that stands behind their product.

Best I have owned. Made to last for adults and kids. Metal hinge is best made I have seen. Kid friendly and easy to use.

II’m a 2 years since purchase review.Loved the idea of the toilet seat itself. Worked well for both our toddlers. Small toilet seat stayed up well when using the adult one and was easy to put downCons: No matter how many times we tightened it, it came loose fairly quickly. Little frustrating but we dealt with it.Now fast forward 2 years the toilet seat broke off completely out of no where!Toilet seats should last a LOT longer

I purchased the Mayfair seat which is similar to this one except the potty seat snaps off. I love the concept of a pull down potty seat that is attached to the regular toilet seat. It saves all the clutter and hassle of a portable potty seat. The Mayfair is designed so that you can unsnap the potty seat for easy cleaning. The problem is it won't stay snapped into place when you want it to. I ordered another one by Bemis.. exact same problem. The potty seat constantly comes undone and I was constantly having to reposition it which made for a lot more hand contact with the seat than I was comfortable with. When I saw this seat with the permanently attached potty seat I ordered it right away. What a difference! The seat is sturdy, looks good (for toilet seat) and the potty seat stays put. I bought one of those plastic handles to lift the toilet seat and attached it with water resistant command adhesive (the adhesive that came with it didn't stick.) Now when the potty seat has been used I can lift the toilet seat with the handle, the magnet grabs the potty seat and I put the seat back down and it's ready for a grown up person. I don't think the removable for cleaning feature is that much of a help. It's easily cleaned without removing it. I don't remove the regular toilet seat to clean it. This one's no different. Really great product
