BEST STUFF FOR TOUGH METAL REPAIRS
Excellent product! I had a rust perforation on a rail on a classic VW Bus, and the normal repair is to cut out the section and weld in new metal. There was no replacement available in the time frame, so we blasted and chemically treated the rust, used the putty as directed, packed it in from inside the panel, and sanded it when it cured. Absolutely a flawless, undetectable, permanent repair. Even the body shop painter was impressed! Sandbanks, paintable, affordable. This stuff saved me 4 days and $900- on one repair! Love it!

Works great
This works great. My husband uses it a lot for repairs.

It works!
I used this stuff to patch a small fuel tank leak on a steel combine fuel tank and also on a radiator coolant pipe on a semi. To be honest, I didn’t expect either one to work, but they did! Had to redo the fuel tank one after 3 or 4 years, but much cheaper than replacing the fuel tank!

Works great. Easy to use
Works great. Easy to use. No mixing necessary = just hand-work it to activate. I used just a very small piece to create an extremely tight fit between and shaft and a knob (will never loosen on its own anymore). Cures quickly and is very hard = just like steel. Note: more suited to a bulk application because it's not a liquid and won't penetrate small cracks.

Great
this stuff is effective for many temporary fixes (key word: temporary).I've stopped leaks in cracked oil pans with it before. and they held up that way for a long while.I keep a tube in with my emergency road-side tools. Never know, it might come in handy for a worst-case-scenario situation someday.

Does not work
I purchased this product with the intention of stopping a very small leak in a copper pipe joint. This leak is tiny, it doesn't drip so much as it oozes water. As directed, I sanded and cleaned the copper surfaces, mixed the putty and applied as directed. It stuck to my rubber gloves better than it did to the pipe. It failed to seal this tiny leak in a copper pipe, maybe it works better on iron, steel or plastic pipe? I gave this product one star simply because Amazon requires this as a minimum for posting a review. If I could, I'd give it no stars. I ended up calling a plumber.
