Deli Fresh Barrel-Aged Greek Feta Cheese, approx. 32oz (2lb)

I have tried a lot of feta cheese. I have been eating it in large quantities since I was a child. I was surprised by the quality of this feta. It has a very pungent smell, but the flavor is so smooth and satisfying. It was packaged with freezer bags, but they had long since lost their coldness by the time I received the package. That does not seem to have affected the cheese. The price for 2 pounds is very reasonable in my opinion.

I was so excited to try this feta; however, when I tried it, it was very bland. I've bought supermarket feta that had more flavor then this feta. A lot of money for something so tasteless.Also when I received my order, the feta was packaged in a cheap plastic bag held closed with a twist tie so needless to say I had to clean up all of the brine that spilled on my counter & floor, the gel packs placed in the box did not keep the feta cold, the feta was cool at best.

The cheese was really good. My feedback would be to used better ice for the delivery.

Received quickly. Placing order was easy. Cheese is not dodoni, but is adequate for making tyropeta and spanokopeta.

coming from a Greek family in NY, my mother was able to find the best imported Greek feta around. Having moved down to Florida, it's been difficult to find the quality that I've been used to.When I tasted this one, my eyes lit up; it brought me back to NYC and me childhood. It's not to soft, not too hard, nor too salty; if it's too salty for you, all you have to do is take it out of its water and store it in regular water and that cut out a lot of the salt.This, my friends, is a wonderful product

This is a superb Feta. It is shipped in its brine, and arrived in fine condition. The flavor is smooth and creamy, and at the same time it exhibits the correct amount of tartness for a real Greek Feta. I have enjoyed this Feta a great deal and plan on placing a repeat order. Try the real thing, domestic Feta doesn't even come close to the real thing.

The cheese was sent in a bag with a twist tieIn a box with bags that weren’t cool by the time I got them .The feta was warm and mushy from back east to me in calif.I still have not got an answer on a refund of my money.

Barrel-Aged Greek Feta is a good, quality Feta. It is not the very best I've had, but it is GOOD. Of course I have been spoiled with the authentic fresh Feta while visiting Greece, but this product from Parthenon Foods is a very nice. It was very costly with the shipping, I would hope they could find a better shipping option, and with winter approaching, a 3 day shipping would be a nice option.
