Gets salt off like it says!
I used this on my sculling boat since salt buildup was crusting around the nuts and boats, even with regular soap washing and even after I tried to get it off with hot water and soap scrubbing. Some of it was starting to make nuts and boats corrode into the fiberglass too. Happy I found this, it's a much easier and labor saving solution!It dries pretty quickly so if you're cleaning your boat in direct sunlight, maybe give the boat a rinse occasionally to wash away the salt and the excess starbrite solution off.

Easy to apply - really works!
"Salt off" sprayed on salt residue on my Honda outboard engine. Rinsed the residue then added a light spray to protect from future salt build up. Worked great! So good I used it on my salt water fishing gear. Well worth the time and investment!

Cleaned salt corrosion off engine
Spray product on cold engine. For large build up may have to apply a second time and scrub with brush but, it does the job.

Works well
I purchased this product to remove road salt from my 5th wheel skirting. Although it did not remove all of the salt, it did a MUCH better job than the detailer I hired. It could be because I waited several months before attempting to remove the salt, I don't know. That said, I will continue to use it.

Great product for cars
Use it even if there is no salt build up. It cleans, takes care of accumulated minerals from car washes and such. In addition, it leaves you with a coating that is glossy and repels minerals. I used in a full blown car detail as part of the decontamination process.

Use the competing product. This one stains.
This product stains the surface of your boat or truck. Don't use it. On the other hand the aerosol product I originally used and decided to try this instead is hidden from searches so that Star Brite shows up instead, and in place of. Is Star Brite owned by Amazon, I wonder? It seems to show up in many boat and auto products now. I took the remainder of this to hazardous waste disposal. And I'm going to stop using any Star Brite product.
