Makes a big difference in the sound of everything I listen to. Very happy with the sub.

I'd give it four and half, only because I don't like it quite as well as my 20 year old down firing 300 watt 15" Klipsch sub from 1996 that just died. Bass can be TOO refined, IMO, but these avoid that trap, barely. It's a tighter, newer, more directed sound. The older sub was window rocking thumping, this is more concise, focused feel to it. I'm running it through a NAD 758, so there's plenty of clean power, took a moment to get it dialed in, and using the sub woofer boost switch gets it about where it should be, then dialing back the volume a touch.Still getting it dialed in on room position, but hook up is super easy, it is definitely more directed than the down firing configurations.It's the "good" Klipsch line, what can you say? The Reference series is just not that good, in my experience, if you want your system to stand out, the SPL line will do it.

I like the sub but some of the instructions are not clear. The instructions said the red led on the front will give you the status but mine was a green led that was not very bright and hard to see. On the back there is a switch that was supposed to be on/auto/standby/off. The lettering just says on/auto/standby with the three positions but one of those positions is off. I figured them out and the speaker works very good. Also, the wireless adapter is great.

Provides quality sound in any setting. Purchased multiple of these for various homes. Will buy again if needed

Klipsch is a venerable brand that emphasizes high fidelity and high efficiency. This subwoofer continues that standard. It fills two rooms, each with its own set of satellite speakers, together about 800 square feet, with clean, accurate bass, with power to spare.If you have a single room, you may only need the ten inch model. But I am very happy I got the larger model, given my open floor plan.

The speaker works great and sounds amazing in my 30'x60' home theater. Only 4 stars because the wireless transmitter only connected on the first use then never again after. Customers service responded back that they were on backorder and it's been over 5 months since. No response when checking up on getting a replacement transmitter

Very good solid bass for both music and movies. Would be nice if it was available in a lighter finish to match most furniture. The Klipsch wireless accessory works well. Have it working at approximately 20 ft from receiver with no dropouts.

Setup of the wireless was super easy following the clear instructions provided. Works like a charm every time. And the sound.....oh wow. Deep and pure and as loud as you could expect. Build quality is premium. I put this together with my already existing Klipsch towers with 8" (can't remember exact model, but it's the same line as this sub) and Denon AV750 receiver. I'm in music heaven! Thank you, Klipsch, for high quality product that delivers everything promised and more.
