ASRock B450 Steel Legend (AM4)

Great motherboard. fitted a Ryzen 5 2600x 16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO RAM, Nvidia GTX 1660 GPU, Sabrent 256GB m.2 NVME SSD & Pioneer 1TB SSD. Everything picked up in BIOS and worked without any issues.Nice digital camo pattern on board (white &Grey) which went well in the white case which is carried over into the IO strip. nice touch of the m.2 having a dedicated cooler

Really like this motherboard. Its in a Cooler master Q500l and it is a tight fit, but it fits nonetheless! Haven't had any issues with the BIOS or cpu compatibility. The RAM XMP profiles are working fine. Plenty of room for expansion with two m.2 slots and 6 SATA ports!Reason for 4 stars is that the inbuilt RGB controller is terrible, both in the BIOS and the one available to download on their website. Every time you try and change it the application will just freeze and you will have to close it in task manager... Not the end of the world, but it certainly doesn’t feel polished either.Overall I’m really happy with the board though

Great all around motherboard, comes with Ryzen 3000 support from the box (I would advise you to update to the latest BIOS for this generation). It has enough features , the build quality is good and it looks amazing for the price. Works great with my 3600X

While I reckon that I could have gotten away with buying a slightly cheaper motherboard, I quite like this one. It has plenty of ports, looks relatively nice, and supports high speed data storage options (i.e. two m.2 slots, and 2 usb 3.2 ports.). I'd recommend it if you're looking for a board that's relatively future proof too, as you should be able to install Ryzen 5000 series chips in it too.

The motherboard I got was faulty and I didn't know this but when I asked for help all over the internet (especially r/buildapc on Reddit who were very helpful) and was basically told that AsRock were a meme when it comes to the motherboard business. My motherboard lights would get power but wouldn't transfer power to any of the other components on the motherboard (and trust me I quintuple checked all the connectors and everything else) and I tried every solution possible for removing all my ram to taking it out of the case and then connecting everything like that (this is called bread-boarding) basically anything you could think of to make a motherboard work I tried and the motherboard just didn't perform, yes, the steel is nice and good quality but the motherboard just didn't perform at all so be cautious purchasing this because it's literally known as a meme for not working.

Very happy with this board and the lights. I aint overclocking or doing anyhting else so i cant comment on that but worked straight outta the box with my 3600x and the lights look cool. Great value board.
