Does not work for Xbox 360 emulation!
This hard drive is not the official Microsoft hard drive so it doesn’t have the files necessary to run original xbox games on the 360 through emulation.If you are looking for a hard drive to emulate original xbox games this won’t work, otherwise great purchase!

Old hard drive in new case.
I figured this wouldn't be new since the price was so low and a few people complained about size discrepancy. So when I got it I decided to open the case and see (thus voiding my warranty) sure enough, really old and beat up hard drive. This one is a Western Digital Scorpio blue made on June 29th 2010. Yep 6 year old hard drive. The odd part is that I bought a 120 gig hard drive, this drive has 160gb scribbled on it but it's actually a 500gb HD (partitioned down to 120 I'm sure) . I haven't tried it in the Xbox yet, not really sure I want to since now I know it's definitely NOT a Microsoft product and who knows what firmware is actually on it. Don't waste your money on it. Save up and buy a real Microsoft branded hard drive for your Xbox. Will post pictures as soon as I can.UPDATE.... Wish I could give it no stars.. Less than a week and the drive died. Well, I guess you get what you pay for.
