Fujimi 1/24 Nissan GT-R R35 w/Engine

This model is detailed beyond belief. I especially enjoyed piecing the engine together and explaining to my daughters what every part is for.

first fujimi kit,but not the last.great detail i was looking for.apparantly the best engine detail trhan any other.great kit!!!!!!

Received on time and packaged well. The quality of the model in my opinion is sub par to the quality of Tamiya and a few other of the major players. The engineering of the model is sub-par as the suspension is week and not at all like most others. I could go on and on but you get the idea. The model is buildable but frustrating. Remindeds me of the car models of the 60s and 70s by Revell and amt. I would recommend to look at the Tamiya offering and take the frustration out of the equation. With over 700 models built in my 60 yrs of building I know a good quality engineered model from a sub-par effort.

Love the detail in this kit. The only problem I have is poor fitment on the bumpers, side skirts, and front/rear diffusers.Edit (with pictures): I was able to things back into proper shape. I filled in the bumper panel lines because it looked better to me. The worst part of fittment was the hood. The hinges didnt go into their place without bending the hood a little, only that made the hood snap 2-3 times through the build. The last time it happened was on finished day. I had everything else on. Last thing to do was put the hood on for pictures and displaying. It snapped in another spot. The hood is in all the pictures but it's sitting off to the side. I will eventually fix it but not now. I widened the rear quarters, deleted the spoiler, and added a rear diffuser, front bumper fins, and Enkei GTC01RR wheels.

The pieces don't even stick and the instructions are all in Japanese which really isn't a surprise

Not a full engine as they show! disappointing~
