Lots of fun!
This is an interesting package. The beads are packaged in separate little compartments so you don't have to buy another box and sort them. I can see why it could be fun for children but it's also good for adults! I am an octogenarian and I made most of the characters and will give them away. I sort of got hooked on it and bought more of them. They should advertise them not only for kids, but for adults too!

Great patterns, great product
Loved the patterns! It was a great quarantine project. We bought little self adhesive magnets and stuck them all over the fridge.

Very fun!
My kid is 7 and loves this. They started on Perler beads at school and he wanted to make some at home. The red peg board doesn't stop him at all because they don't have clear ones at school, so he just counts, which is good for him anyway!

Okay kit but not great
I'm a beginner at Perler art, so I thought this would be a good starter kit. I've made a few pieces with my niece prior to buying this, so I have a few thoughts in mind.First off, the materials themselves. There are a lot of beads in here which is great, but one of the reasons I bought this particular kit was that it was already sorted. I opened the kit to find an extra (non-resealable) bag with SEVEN different colors in it. A few were extras of some of the sorted colors, but the rest weren't in the sorter at all and there's no room for them. Three of the boxes have duplicate colors, it would make more sense to just have the extras in a bag as a refill and maybe double up some of the smaller volume colors so that every unique color is in the sorter. Edit: I sorted them all out for easier usage and I don't have enough light purple for Thanos. You need 40 for him and I only got 17. Luckily, I have a big mixed bucket on the way so I can make him anyway, but that was disappointing. The pegboard is okay, but it's opaque red. This makes it harder to see contrast, and it would be nice if it were a clear board so you could simply lay it on top of the pattern for easy use. Finally, it didn't come with tweezers. Luckily, I bought another kit at the same time that had them, but these patterns would be very difficult to make on an opaque board just using your fingers. The designs are nice but I am kind of curious how the characters were chosen. War Machine and Nebula were included, but not Black Widow? Ant-man is there but not the Winter Soldier? Spider-Man is in the instructions (demonstrating ironing) but isn't in the kit?Overall, it is a fun beginner kit, but I'd recommend getting tweezers for sure and perhaps a clear board if you want to make this more beginner friendly. A few simple changes could make this much better.

Excellent assortment of colors
Kiddo isn’t into Marvel but wanted specific colors to do various video game characters. This set has a refreshing absence of pink, and a high ratio of black and grey and blue, at a good price. They melt well.
