16% wear after one full charge cycle
Bought this looking to upgrade the aging Lenovo battery in my ThinkPad X230, but when I first charged the new battery it showed 6% wear. I thought this was a misreading, so I attempted to recalibrate the battery and now it's showing 16% west after one full charge cycle, at the time of this review I have only had the battery for three days.

Bargain.
At half the price of a genuine Lenovo battery, took a chance & purchased this battery.Lenovo have recently updated their bios on these laptops so that if you use non-genuine batteries they will not charge. Have had no problems with this battery, no pop-ups to say it is not genuine, & the battery works fine, have recharged it a couple of times so far. Of course its too soon to tell about the long term performance, but so far so good. Very pleased.

Not compatible
This battery was not compatible with my Lenovo ThinkPad X230 although the description would make you think so. The battery fits and works but the ThinkPad says: "not genuine battery, will not charge." And it doesn't! A pity because this large capacity battery would give a longer run time.Returned to Amazon for a refund.Potential purchasers shouls check compatibility before buying. Some older ThinkPad possibly don't do this. It's a RESTRAIN OF TRADE on Lenovo's part: shame on them!
