Worth the extra cost
This scooter is worth the extra cost. It is a very sturdy scooter, but not difficult for a smaller person like me to move around. The locking brakes make it very reliable when reaching for items or when using the scooter as a foot stool while seated. It is infinitely better than moving around on crutches.

Well Made!
Being a plus size woman I overly worry about the sturdiness of everything. You won't have to with this knee scooter! This is a very well made piece of equipment. I have to warn you though, I struggled with the breaks being sort of "squishy," going up/down a 10ft ramp. I'm not mechanically inclined, but if you are and you can tighten the breaks, do it. Flat surfaces and small inclines/declines you don't have to worry. The red is rich and more of a ruby color. The ride is smooth, the handles are comfortable, and it was quite easy to transport. Assembling the scooter was simple. When adjusting the knee rest, it's fine doing it alone. It may take a few tries, but it's doable!

Best kneewalker. . . BUT remember. . .
This is a very good, sturdy, stable and useful product. BUT it is a "knee walker" that has been very helpful to have since breaking my leg and ankle (ordered to not have ANY weight-bare on that leg. . .) I am not an exceptionally "in shape" individual. . . a little ole lady actually with arthritis in both feet/ ankles, hands, shoulders, etc. . . Using ANY knee walker in this scenario is tough. You will need upper body strength and a good "healthy - usable" leg opposite the one one with the injury. This particular brand's features and engineering is about the best you are going to find but there are challenges when approaching pavement/ surface cracks, door jambs, inclines, slopes, curbs. . . A super in shape individual can probably just grab those handlebars and hop it up onto or over whatever obstacles. But for me it does put stress on other places/ joints. A knee walker is better for me than attempting crutches but if there's someone around to help get it in and out of the vehicle and push you, a 'patient transporter' is the better option.

Good for a big and tall person
Very sturdy and the right height for someone over 6 ft tall. Could use better wheels however that’s the only drawback.

Indispensible for those needing long-term assistance
I rented this model knee walker for use after breaking my heel in a fall, and needing to be off my foot for 3 months. After two days use I was convinced of its usefulness and purchased one. Far superior to crutches or a walker. I can maneuver around easily, carry things, and don't have the discomfort and instability of crutches. I put a canvas bag on the front to carry items in, and the brakes make standing in one spot very secure. It is well built, sturdy, and fully assembled on arrival other than adjustments for height. One caveat is that when used outdoors one needs to be careful as it feels a bit unstable when going over bumps or debris on the road. Indoors it is perfect.

A life saver!
I can’t remark on the ease of putting it together out of the box, as a family member did it for me, but I can advise anyone who uses it frequently to make sure you retighten all the bolts and screws periodically to keep on trucking along safely! As an FYI, the turning radius leaves much to be desired, but I’ve found making jokes about it while trying to turn helps, especially in crowded elevators and hallways. Also, do yourself a favor and get the basket and seat cover for this. I’ve been using this scooter for 2 months while I recover from foot surgery and those accessories have made things comfortable and convenient. This scooter has been a real life saver. I wouldn’t have been able to get back to work or help out around the house without it, especially since crutches did not work for me. Even now, as I transition to a cane now that I’m able to bear weight, this comes in handy for traveling distances or having a sturdy piece of equipment to use when I’m out in public and I get sore or pained while walking with the cane.

Very Nice Knee Scooter for Post-op Recovery Foot/Ankle...Could use a Lock for the Brakes.
This is a Very Nice Knee Scooter...A Smooth Ride for Our Son's Post-op Recovery of Left Foot/Ankle Surgery. A Suggestion for the NOVA Company...This Scooter Could use Some Type of Locking Mechanism for the Hand/Wheel Brakes. Our Son had a previous Surgery on the same ankle (in 2019) and we Rented a Different Brand of Heavy Duty/Bariatric Knee Scooter from our Local Medical Supply Store, and it had a 'Lock Button' on the Hand Brakes. It was a Very Helpful Extra Feature...Keeping the Scooter a Bit Safer when a Stationary Position was Needed. Overall...A Very Nice Product!

Highest quality and value available
Had to use it for 2 months. Easy to maneuver. Much more sturdy and well built than other brands. Seat is in 1 piece making it more comfortable than the split seat kind. The brakes and brake handles are quality. Other brands are flimsy. Folds easily to fit in trunk.
