Received very quick. 2 strokes are Illegal to use for recreation since 2013. Use it at your own risk.Fired up and ran nicely. I don't expect it to last more than a couple of years but at the price it cost it's not really an issue.

Great little engine
This is pushing my 25ft narrowboat along the cut with no problem whatsoever. It might only be 6hp, but I haven't had to go anywhere near full revs, despite it being rather windy at the moment.I had to retcon the throttle and gear cables to my remote, but that's all part of the fun!It's basically a Yamaha clone, so as long as it's looked after, you should expect it to have a long life. You'll hear horror stories about these 'cheapo' Chinese brands, but they're all clones of Honda or Yamaha. Use proper marine two-stroke oil, service them regularly, and they'll serve you every bit as well as the aforementioned brands will if they're cared for.I'm very happy with this engine. It's exactly what I wanted it to be.
