Lovely product.Having had the tap for aprox 2 years I lost a small screw which did not impair the taps use but aesthetically did not look just right. I emailed the supplier with little hope of getting a replacement given the time elapsed since purchase. However I received the replacement part today together with a spare! No charge for part or postage!I’m very impressed with this level of customer service and would strongly recommend this company!

Quite small, not very sturdy

I’m a heating, vent and air conditioning engineer and fitting this tap is one of the worst tasks I have ever undertaken. To fit the tap I had to grind the edges off the 12mm securing nut to allow the nut to turn as the edges snagged on the hoses. You are also unable to use a box spanner to secure the nut as it sits right next to the hoses. It would have been physically impossible to fit the taps yourself because the securing clamp would not pass where the hoses are fitted to the threaded fitting. My wife had to assist as I held the clamp and rubber washer and fitted the screwed rod with the nut ran nearly all the full travel. To tighten the nut I had to use a stubby spanner and various wrenches to fully tighten the nut.I should have probably sent the tap back but my old tap started leaking badly and it required immediate replacement and when you try to carry out a job you think, I will try this and try that and never thinking it could possibly be that difficult. The tap appearance is good and the hot and cold valves action also appears good. It may well have been the case I received a faulty set but I did see other reviews of a similar nature. I have carried out pipe fitting for years therefore if I had extreme difficulty how would a layman/handyman manage.

Buy cheap buy twice

This tap comes in a nice ‘presentation’ box and includes all relevant fittings. We purchased this to replace an old leaking mixer tap. It does look a bit shiny owing to some sort of protective film around the brass but is still a great improvement on our previous one. The lever taps may need tightening a little upon delivery. Note that when mounting behind a belfast sink, it has quite a large fixing thread and nut that make it harder to install in such a confined space.

Utility room and kitchen tap … I bought 2 and both look fabulous. No problems installing and quite sturdy. A high end look at a bargain price
