Works really well for 18" wide vinyl

ok, either buy the more expensive model and pray that works better, or just find an old asbestos shingle cutter. this is cheap and flimsy and cuts degrade quickly. i broke this using it correctly the first day. the older cast iron asbestos cutter might not be as clean of a cut, not that the blades were sharp, but aside from being heavy, its perfect. this is good idea but cheap crap

Worth every penny. Gone through a half of a pallet of cement siding the blade is still sharp and makes precise cuts. Works best if you go slow and keep the the knife clean. After each cut I use an old paint bush to remove debris. Keep a file handy once in awhile you will have to clean up an cut edge.

Nice clean cut in vinyl, can't even imagine cutting by hand any more.

blade broke on the first day that the tool was used, cutting miratec trim, call company and they said not to cut the miratec trim, send a new blade out took 2 weeks to get, starting useing the tool on second job site new blade already has a chip in it , over all it does great, I think they have a lots of work on this item to make it right, will cut up to a 6 and 12 pitch not like the viedo shows that it will cut a 4 and 12 pitch

Well this was a life saver! We decided to side our entire house, detached garage, and outbuilding and my husband was convinced that this would help the job go faster and cleaner and he could not have been more right. Best tool purchase. If you are doing James Hardie siding...this is a must.

The shear made the job much easier and a better looking job was the result of the shear,not to mention the health aspect ,the shear creates no dust,thus making the shear a great tool.I highly recommend the shear to anyone wanting to save time and money.

Received a item. Not as described at all, not wide enough as it says. Shipping box was pretty much destroyed. Requested return, ups store closed near me so code wasn’t good. Canceled return and resubmitted return. Amazon facility has had return for over 10 days if not more. Delivery has been confirmed. Still shows in return log, refund will be issued when item is received, well you have had it for over a week. So what’s the issue. Trying to hustle me out of money I guess. Use Amazon a lot but this issue right here will tell the tale. Really pissed off at this time!!!
