Eastwood 18 in. Mini Metal Bender Brake Portable Bender Bendering Bend 16 Gauge Aluminum & Bend Steel For Workbench

I wish this product was available in a 24-in model as bigger rolls of Valley flashing are 20 in. I also wish that the material clamping bar head integrated hinge locks like a full size brake. Instead of using traditional C clamps like they suggest, I found a set of small Jorgensen c style quick release wood clamps work great. I personally have my mounted on the tailgate of my pickup truck and have yet to have an issue with it. Make sure to use thread lock on your handles and knobs, as the plastic is cheap and will strip out really easily when assembling.

It works fine for small metal pieces enough for home jobs.

Description said it could bend 16ga aluminum and 18ga steel. It could not bend 18ga steel.

This is an extremely low quality product and is out of square. I haven’t used it yet, I’m considering returning it and spending money on a better product. Not built to last

Cheap made.... already broke it bending duck work.

The brake is lightweight but surprisingly it bent max gauge metal nearly full width, would like to see a gusset on the clamp bar to strengthen it. Otherwise a value tool for diy 😀Ill be making short clamping bars for box brake use. Would be nice if vendor offered them as options.

I’ve tried it several times and it’s decent. Nothing to write home about but for the price you really can’t beat it. It’s good for sheet metal, which is what I purchased it for so it suits what I needed it for. I wouldn’t go and try folding anything more that sheet metal.
