Not bad for the price
Where to start...I purchased this soley on the bluetooth connection on it claiming to be easy pairing...which couldn't be further fr the truth if you have a samsung tizen tv. It took almost 2 hours of trying to pair it to my tv I went to call pyles customer support they don't have a phone number...I tried their live chat but apparently that's only for sales reps and not support techs they then transfered me via email to support tech but that was 24 hours later that I got an email response and by then already got the tv to connect to the blue tooth device and no longer needed the support. Now on to the next topic. The instruction manual is vauge and not really informative about it's bluetooth. It does not have any way to manually pair to it via a pre programmed pin code to force/approve bluetooth connection. It does not also have a specific channel for bluetooth and disables all other audio options when bluetooth mode is enabled so if I wanted to listen to the radio I have to push the button on the receiver to disable the bluetooth which brings me to my next topic...the remote of all things the remote should have a button to turn on and off bluetooth mode...the remote shown in the pictures is not the remote I received with this product. The remote feels cheap and the buttons stick when pressed and get stuck under the cheap plastic casing ment to protect the remotes pcb. The volume and tuning buttons are tiny and difficult to find unless held under the light and the remote is black with blue around the buttons with white text instead of black text to stand out on the blue background. The it sensor for the remote and on the receiver is easily blocked and is a pain if you like me have nicnaks and decorations on your living room table/tv stand that are anywhere remotely close to the front of the receiver.Sound quality is the next topic of my post and to bein I would first like to say wow... I expected less for it's price and everything else previously mentioned it's surprising sounds really good it drives all 4 speakers and the subwoofer I have with no problems I can set the volume to 10 and it's loud enough to hear a pin drop in what I'm watching. There is a slight static when nothing is playing but easily ignored after about a day you won't even notice it happening. It supposedly has led lights to show left right balance of audio and the digital eq visualizer display is shotty and if the volume is low it doesn't light up or display on the screen like it's got anything going on it's not important but it could be better.Power and standby mode..Main unit power is only on the receiver via a push button it is not a button on the remote...the only option for power on the remote is the standby button...which is acceptable I guess. I like to turn off my systems when not in use at night...when putting the system into standby mode you would expect the entire unit to power down in regards to the front IO lighting but that is not the case, it stays all lit up blue and in a unlit room it is bright enough to shed enough light to walk around and see obstacles you may stub your toe on otherwise...in short when putting anything into stand by all lighting should turn off and this receiver has alot of lighting. The dvd player is a nice tac on feature but pointless in a home with multiple game systems and computers or even if you have a smart tv that has netflix prime video and such not really needed and it holds no use for setting up the audio outputs for the receiver. The on unit display is difficult to navigate and the on unit buttons are hard to press and most do nothing at all. Overall for it's price it's not a terrible unit, but if your looking for something with ease of use do not buy this unit.

Not the greatest
Bought to replace an old Receiver /Amplifier. Could not connect with Turntable without separate Preampand still the sound was tinny, not rich like some lower wattage amps. Could not push my old 4ohm Speakers at all. Sound from flimsy CD player and FM Radio were poor at best. They advertise a lot of wattage but itdoes not adapt the Voltage in the processor to run older equipment. Remote is also very cheaply made.Has a lot of features, but does not have the internals to produce good sound. Replaced it with an Onkyo TX-8220 2 Home Audio Channel Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth & built in Preamp & an inexpensive Sony DVPSR210P DVD Player that has a separate circuit to play CDs. Not all the glitz of the Pyle, but good richsmooth sound that drives my 4 ohm floor speakers without any problem. Although much lower wattagebetter and louder sound!

THIS HAS AN AMPLIFIER IN IT!
THIS HAS AN AMPLIFIER IN IT! It says "pre-amp" however it does have it's own (1000w + 2) nice little amp. This unit does it all, and well. BT/USB/MP3/ and all of the functions pop right to life with no BS. The only issue is a vulnerable DVD drive, the drawer is a little flimsy, just be careful. This is the best buy in its class for the money. I did months of research, and this is it.UPDATE!- THE "TAPE" plug in located in the back, next to "DVD", "CD", pulled out with the slightest pressure. I will update the return process after it's over.

Simple controls good sound good power
Bought mainly for simplified A/B speaker set up for my garage. That and the Bluetooth ability for my smartphone. Connected flawlessly.ProsBluetoothSimple adjustmentRemoteEasy fm storageConsDisplay lights blind you can't read description above themCan't use sub output without a monitor display for set upmenu (ridiculously stupid) fix thisSound although balanced without sub is vocal focused(you will want an EQ app on your device)I would recommend this for a basic garage system. Price is good for the power it puts out. Has a lot of Karaoke features if your into that which I will never use.I did have to return the first one I received left bank on both channels didn't work. Amazon is awesome about standing behind their return process. Had replacement in 2 days

Power Amp MADNESS!
I was using my dads Sony power amp from the 70s it has always worked great (or so I thought!). It started to cut out if the music went to loud, so I knew that it was time to up grade with the times. I look at different stores, different opinions from Friend and family... & BAM... I was introduced to Pyle USA! I ordered the PD1000BA Power amp, delivered in 2wks (I’m stationed overseas), hooked the speakers up (super easy), plugged it in and then was blown away! The amount of sound and bass this thing pushes will for sure get your neighbors to call the cops for a noise disturbance (oops)!Anyways... if you need a power amp. Stop looking... you’ve found it!
