These were the perfect office gift this year. The marker isn't the best so we ordered extra ones. This is very functional, easy to clean and comes in very handy.

I got this to keep track of my billable hours while I work. It is the right size to be useful but not obtrusive. In a pinch I can lean it vertically against the wall, but this does not stand up on its own.

I've recently been promoted, and I needed a way to keep track of notes and small tasks that might otherwise fall through the cracks of all the hustle and bustle. I'm also a DM for a D&D game, and wanted a way to jot down quick notes without wasting tons of sticky notes and scrap paper.This right here is the solution. It's the missing link between my planner and my trello board. The small size is perfect for my desk, and its angle is comfortable, and paired with a pack of fine tipped dry erase markers, it writes incredibly smooth. I love that I can use magnets on it, too! I have tried a few dry erase products around my office, but this one is by far my favorite.

I bought the gold one, and it looks great on my desk at work. Marker works well and has a finer tip, so I can write a good bit on it. I bought it so I'd stop wasting so many sticky notes and it's certainly doing its job.Like others, mine arrived with a couple small dents in the edges. Since I just bought it for myself, not as a gift, it's not a big deal.Other reviewers have reported that the ink doesn't erase easily if left on for more than a couple hours. I haven't had this problem. I left ink sitting on mine for about 24 hours and it still erased easily. So, YMMV. I think this board is a good value. The letter holder is also quite useful.

Despite the reviews, I really wanted this and believed it would be perfect. It is. I use it to take notes for work and I'm saving post its by using it. People complaints were that it left marks behind. If you use the pen it comes with, it does. I use a pen I had already and it works perfect. It also came with no chips or damage. Very happy with my purchase.

It looks nice on my desk, but the pen doesn’t work well. The pen is dried out, and hard to write with.

I frequently handle confidential information. Typically I pull information from several screens and need to write it down. This board is perfect for making short-term notes and then securely destroying them. In the past I have used post-it notes and then shredded them, but that does result in the notes hanging around for a few hours with the possibility they will not be destroyed. I have used a little white-board with dry-erase markers, but those are hard to erase permanently. This metal plate erases completely with one swipe. Maybe a chemist could come in and recover what was written, but for anything less than NSA-level secrecy this board works extremely well. I also think this will last longer than even a high-quality whiteboard.My only problem is with the marker that comes with the unit. It is not very dark, even when it is stored tip-down. The magnet is almost worthless for holding the marker upright. I ended up getting some "Board Dudes SRX Magnetic Dry Erase Markers" from Amazon. They work much better.

I bought this for me to stop using sticky notes. I placed it on the counter with my to do list and my family - husband and sons were checking off things!
