I bought this for my daughter's first birthday and it was such a great purchase! We got it early so she was technically 11 mos and it took her a while to understand how to use it because she is so young. Her first impression was joy in having 3 balls (I realized we didn't actually have any for her) which she banged together and rolled around. I will say, 2 of the balls were easily lost but I mean, she's a baby so it's on us to find them under furniture. I've demonstrated how to use the mallet to hit the balls, and to play the xylophone and the tambourine for a couple weeks. After we rotated it out for a week and back in, I'm happy to say that now at just 12 mos she's figured out how to use all components! It's VERY cute to watch her swing the tambourine and dance to the sounds it makes.I definitely see this as a toy that will grow with her over the next year and bring her a lot of joy. It all feels very sturdy and can be tossed around in normal baby play without fear of getting damaged or damaging other items. The balls are also lightweight so until she starts throwing them at the tv I'm not really worried. I'm really happy we bought it!

Our 13 month old daughter loves this toy. She likes music so she is always playing different beats even at her age. I like how it comes with a variety of different instrument. The colors are bright and happy!

Great toy. Very sturdy. My 1 year old grandson loves dropping everything he can to hit the xylophone. Four year old also enjoys it. Be careful if your child likes to throw every ball they can. The balls are hard and a little heavy so they make music with the xylophone. Definitely capable of breaking other things if thrown and don’t feel so good if you are the unexpected target.

It is not 100% perfect because it has imperfections and tones are off a little bit, but I am not a musician and it works for a little toddler just as entertaining and fun to play. The overall quality is not bad, mostly wood. For the purpose I got it I am happy with it.

My 1 year old loved this birthday gift. He took an immediate liking to the sound of the xylophone and wanted to keep playing. He usually gets bored with toys within 15 minutes, but this toy keeps him entertained with the pounding balls and xylophone. Plus came with a tambourine so will be in use as he grows. The material is high quality and there is no discoloration and paint chip. Highly recommend this toy for any little one!
