The anchor point went right up into an exposed floor joist in my basement. Definitely follow the directions and drill a pilot hole and use a good sized socket wrench to drive the big wood screws in, you'll want the leverage. Once up you just clip in the straps and go. I don't think the straps are quite as thick as the ones you see in a commercial gym but unless the weight limits are a factor don't see how it matters. Lots of videos on "you tube" and ways to get work out ideas. Great for off balance and core exercises. As for "bulking up" I don't know since its your own body weight. BUT for toning, flexibility, high rep stuff these are great and easily replace a gym. I got these for prepping for cycling and mountain biking season and definitely think they are great for that. If you want to skip the gym I definitely recommend these.

Dunno why thickness is rated but ok! 5 star thickness. The bundle i got came with some bands, an over the door set up (no thanks) and the steel mount (easy to install) I have it in a 2x6 ceiling joist about 3 feet from the outside wall. My 195lbs swings from it no problem. Ceiling is 8ft tall and if adjusted properly is perfect length. Dragged my feet on getting this for so long, perfect for the home gym

Posting this review before I use the product because, before buying this TRX Go kit, I saw a lot of reviews saying they were missing items or items weren’t in original packaging. This entire set came complete and in factory sealed packaging. Every item was included as well. I will update once I’ve had a chance to use it for a few months. But TRX’s reputation is stellar so I doubt there will be any quality or durability issues.

I have been using this product for three months now and love it! I was tired of having the make the trek to the gym only to deal with too many folks, machines not being available, time wasted resetting machines, etc. I also have young kids so if ever they were sick or needed to be home I wasn't able to get out and get some exercise.Everything that came in the package was solid and high quality. It took roughly 5 mins to get the mount set up in my garage and it was ready to go. I use it 3-4 times a week and it continues to hold up in terms of quality, delivering results and feeling like a good purchase. Easily used by myself, my wife and even our kids (exercise and mini jungle gym). Not something I can say about any other piece of exercise equipment we have ever purchased.The only improvement that I would make is eventually I would like to get a model with the rubberized handles. Not that I have had any issues with the foam handles on this version. I have just used other models with the more robust handles and they feel a bit more solid.Overall, I highly recommend this product after months of consistent use.

As a Veteran struggling to stay active with all my aches and pains, this gear really works for me. Takes up very little room. Can work out even with joint problems. Workout intensity can be increased or decreased just by changing the angle of my body. Almost endless types of exercise. Easy to switch from one exercise to the next. This Go Bundle IMHO is the best bang for my $.

This is great exercise gear but one must be careful to avoid shoulder injury. Of all the joints, shoulders have the greatest range of motion but this advantage is offset by instability. It is important to protect them against over stress. I was so eager during the pandemic closures to exercise at home with my TRX, that within just a few sessions I'd already overdid it and had to go to a sports injury specialist.

These straps are so easy to use. I mostly do pullups and pushups but it is so nice not having to have large equipment to do that with my weight. So portable too, shove it in the bag and take it anywhere. Great for storage. I have really enjoyed this as a fitness option, and there is lots more I could do with it.

I'm so glad to share the best regards to the provider because is an original product with the best quality. I love TRX, I have 2 home 1st generation and 1 Tactical Force 3rd generation all originals also so I can recognize any TRX as far as I can see it. Thanks a lot for make me happy and satisfied.
