Purchased for my son. He was the one who chose them as he needed new shoes quickly. He's quite fussy with his footwear. Once they arrived, he liked the style and the fit, although they were heavier than other shoes he'd tried (& vetoed for a myriad of reasons) .These are his only real gripes with them. They have proper soles, so they are a bit louder when walking. He's got used to this now. His main annoyance is that they aren't so easy to play football in during break, but that's a bonus to me as they should last longer!If you are looking for a smart, sturdy shoe then these are them.Great value for money.

Well made comfortable shoe at a very good price. Easy to spit and Polish for parade.

Very nice shoe but way too small for my feet. Looks well made and will go well with a suit. But if buying either order a couple of sizes bigger or use Amazons free returns if it didn’t fit.

Disappointingly, these shoes seem to fall apart after a very short time and fall apart catastrophically. It is such a pity as they are a nice shape and fit but give it 2 to 3 months of where (I am a teacher so the demands on my shoes are not particularly severe) And they simply self

Wasn’t able to take a photo before polishing these before parade.However, the first thing I noticed was the stinking smell of burnt rubber, or burnt glue.The welts along the body weren’t made properly, and were completely ruined by the manufacturers hot plate that’s supposed to help heat the glue to the body and sole.The body, and toes caps were really scored, and had some hard stuff stuck to them, which was impossible to remove, making polishing really difficult.The sewing around the inner liner is already falling apart, despite only being worn now 4/5 times.The sole has no grip, and is really difficult to create grip as the material is really very plastic.Sizing, I ordered size 8, but these are more size 9.I wouldn’t get these again, and will likely only use them for emergencies.

This is the second pair I have indeed as my sin grew out of the first. Used for sea cadets they are perfect and polish up well. Fit is good considering my son has wide feet he says they fit well. Long lasting at a fraction of the cost of other parade shoes. Will order again when needed. Delivery was quick too.
