I bought these cause the original knobs finally partially broke off from the posts. These are metal material. They look and function like the original " OEM " parts but for a fraction of the costs. There are other after market brands sold on amazon however some are cheap light weight plastic. I would buy from this seller again very happy with purchase at a great price

At first I didn't think these replacements were going to fit by GE gas stove countertop even though they were the same size. Initially, they were not fitting on the dial columns. I was afraid to press harder because they are plastic and I thought they would break. But I lined them up carefully and pressed very hard and slow, and they finally fit. Before attachment, they feel quite flimsy, but so do the GE ones they replaced. The only difference with the original parts (both are chrome-colored plastic) is these have a shiny finish and the originals are more matte. But even if you're just replacing one, it's not a big difference.They really shouldn't be this expensive either, but at least they are cheaper than GE replacements. They appear to work the same. I'll update if there are any problems.(In the photo, the top and bottom are these replacements; the middle two are the GE originals.)

These were ordered because the information in the listing showed the correct OEM GE Knob part number and stove top Model Number. Unfortunately that is misinformation! Althogh they appear to be an excellent relacement for the original knobs, and well made, they are not correctly sized. The original and these are a friction fit but these are "extremely(!)" tight fitting. I clean the stovetop weeklly at a minimum and maybe they would "wear-in" to a better fit. However, their second isssue is the center post is close to 1/8" (3mm) longer than the original. They stand-off from the suface like storks. Lousy aesthetics!! Returned.

Well, considering the cost of 1 original GE gas knob being over 20 bucks this was the best I could do right now. Paid 20 bucks for 6 so they were cost effective. But just beware…you pretty much get what you pay for. Cheap, shiny plastic and the stems will not last. I wish the stems were metal because that’s where they split. It was somewhat difficult to get on but a little force and it’s working. Overall these are affordable

My Stove needs it's knobs replaced annually but these knobs worked better then the original and I'am nearly a year and a half into using them and they still work fine. I had to comeback and give my review.
