Very sturdy supports for a quick shelf
I needed a shelf under a window so that i could support my laser exhaust blower. These brackets work perfectly and since they fold, I can lower the shelf when not needed. I am very happy with this purchase.

Stainless steel so I filed the edges a bit to remove burs. Works great. Solidly built.

Perfect for a Table Saw Extension
Added a 2-foot extension to my mobile table saw using the 16-inch folding shelf brackets, giving me 3-feet of sturdy, reliable support past the saw blade. The folding brackets operate effortlessly to extend the working area when needed and to collapse it for storage. When in use, it makes handling large pieces of wood safe and easy. It's also convenient when sawing multiple smaller pieces.These folding brackets are perfect for my needs.Caveats: 1. The screws that came with the 16-inch brackets seemed too flimsy for my purposes. Not a problem - I replaced them with longer, stronger mounting screws. 2. The vertical arm for the 16-inch brackets has three mounting holes, but only two screws were provided for each vertical arm. The instructions showed only two holes for the vertical arm. Perhaps the screws and instructions provided were meant for either the 10- or 12-inch versions.In any case, these brackets rock!

Extra counter space in my RV
These are terrific! I know they are rated at 550# but, as any RV owner knows the cabinet that I mounted to is NOT. I first mounted 1/4” Hickory veneer plywood to the cabinet. It is fastened with 10 3/4” screws and after scuffing the surface I covered the whole (11” x 22”) piece with construction adhesive. It is pretty strong and will work great for what my wife expects from it. The mechanism snaps into place when up or when stored. The cutting board weighs 14#.

Rather disappointed in material
These are nice but rather flimsy. I do believe they will hold the weight as advertised. The other issue is the screws that come with the hinges. They are quit soft, I twisted of two of the heads even though I had pre-drilled pilot holes.Other they that they do work very well.
