Viable HDMI to DVI Cable
As the title of the review implies, this "KabelDirekt" branded HDMI to DVI cable is a viable and reliable cable. This cable works very well especially for computer monitors that don't have extra HDMI or DisplayPort inputs and works up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz, though considering it's a dual link cable, that means the bandwidth is large enough to handle digital resolutions up to 2560x1600, so if you happen to have a 2560x1440 monitor with a DVI input, this cable will work for such a panel. Anything beyond 2560x1600 however may have limitations of their own, though that isn't to say one can't do it, just don't expect high end compatibility past the initial specifications of the cable. This cable is also relatively thick and very durable, but has enough flexibility when it needs to be, great for setups that need the flexibility and sharper input connections. Audio does work over this cable, however it will only work if the DVI output from the source device allows audio through the DVI pinouts, generally speaking this logic only really gets to be applied with compatible computer graphics cards. Monitors do not typically handle audio through DVI inputs, which means for audio to work over this cable, it's required that this cable be utilized in a unidirectional manner. So if you wanted to use this cable with a computer, and you wanted to have access to audio when using a speaker or headphones compatible monitor and or a television, be sure that you utilize the DVI output(s) of your compatible graphics card, and make the connections to the HDMI input(s) of your display. This cable also works just fine when in use with HDMI switches and HDMI splitters, however keep in mind that manipulating the EDID information on such compatible devices may yield varying results of mishandling of the resolution, color range, audio capabilities, etc. when the cable is in use. It is best in these circumstances to just utilize the EDID passthrough or copy capabilities instead for more appropriate compatibility and functionality.IMPORTANT:Some panels (televisions and monitors) have differing EDID capabilities for DVI input connections compared to their HDMI counterparts, as such, color range handling, upscaling, etc. may or may not work the exact ways one would expect. This isn't due to the limitations of the cable, this has to do with the specifications handling of the panel itself, and the fact that DVI connections were mainly intended for computers, as such, the operating systems for such machines automatically adjusts the picture settings appropriately to match the capabilities of the display when using the DVI input(s), most other machines outside of the computer environment likely won't perform the same process. The color range handling when used on devices outside of the computer environment may or may not be rendered as full range, this is again due to the DVI specifications of the panel being more aligned for one specific environment, however there are settings that can be adjusted to fix the issue, whether it be an on screen display menu built into the television or monitor, or some settings from the source device itself. Likewise with upscaling as certain resolutions over DVI simply won't always be detected correctly if it's anything unusual, this again comes down to the specifications of the television or monitor with its EDID handling over DVI. If you can ignore some of the specification quirks with your panel when using your DVI input(s), this cable works exactly the way it's supposed to.

Signal Interference Protection is Legit
Just got this today, but so far I am very happy. I bought this cable due its claim of signal interference protection, as I've had a number of poorly shielded HDMI cables that interfere with my wi-fi when I attach a monitor to my laptop. This one plugged right in and is working like a champ with no problems. Happy I didn't need to pay more for a "higher quality" cable.

KabelDirekt High Speed HDMI to DVI Cable - Digital Video Cable High Resolution (20 ft) Bi-directional DVI 24+1 to HDMI Adapter for Full HD 3D 1080p - TOP SeriesI needed to connect my Dell flat screen monitor to my Cisco cable TV box, to use as a remote TV in my bedroom. The monitor had VGA and DVI-D inputs, while the TV box had coax and HDMI outputs. The cable run distance was ~17-18 feet.I spent ~90 minutes searching options on Amazon's website, including reading some product reviews. I knew it was critical to match inputs and outputs carefully, and that I could not address audio with one cable in this scenario. After looking at dozens of cable options, I selected three that met my requirements. This KabelDirekt item offered the best combination of features and quality, at a very reasonable price. So I placed my online order on 3/20/2018.The scheduled arrival date was 3/26/2018, the package arrived on 3/21/2018! When I patched the cable to the two components, everything worked as expected. In ~24 hours, I had a great, affordable product in place. Jeff Bezos is brilliant, Amazon rocks!!

Great cable; Great way to extend the life of your video card.
Works quite well. I use it to connect my PC to my 4K TV. I thought I was going to have to purchase a new video card until I found this cable. What an overall savings. When I decide to rebuild my computer I'll invest in a better video card but for now, this works great. The one thing, do not expect sound, obviously.I my case my receiver only has one digital optical input. I use that for my TV, DVR, etc. Since I have the computer next to the TV and receiver I had to come up with another way to take advantage of the motherboard's 5.1 digital optical output. To do that without having to buy a new receiver with multiple digital optical inputs, I ordered this DotStone SPDIF/TosLink Digital Optical Audio Switcher 3x1 (switch 3 inputs into a single output) with Remote Control Support for DD 5.1 Surround Sound PS4 Xbox Audio Signal Output I will review that next month once I have had time to test it out.
