Q: The description says its better than the cheap mdf boards but its looks like a cheap mdf board. which is it?

The actual board is good in my view but the thing I found was with the metal clips are not very Good as one came off on mine I stuck it back on which works but it shouldn’t have happened

Q: How do the metal paper fasteners work? i’ve bought this but suspect a mensa qualification is required to work it out.

Hi sorry mine didnt have any fasteners.. just a plain board .. I use masking tape

The board is 66cm wide x 58 cm high A2 size is 42 x 59.4

Q: Is this board suitable for watercolors? Does the board have a coating that would protect it if I use it for stretching watercolor paper?

Hi. I wouldn't advise that it is suitable for stretching paper. You'll need something more robust or use MDF board and rub a small thin wax on it. 👍
