I used these as replacements for my existing Hunter sprinklers. I typically only use the inside parts and throw away the outside casing, making for an easier replacement. However, this reduces the "Value for money" proposition.

I highly recommend this seller because he included the nozzle tree with the heads. I only wish I found them earlier, because I bought about 20 heads from a different seller and had to spend another $30 for nozzles….. What a jip, what good is a head without nozzles?I bought these heads to replace my 20 year old Hunter PGP heads. Most of the old ones were working just fine. But I was impressed with the new blue nozzles that come with the Ultra. Additionally the Ultra has a slot to change out the nozzle itself much easier. I liked the nozzle selection too. I have a fairly large lawn in the back, about 3/4 of an a acre with about nine heads (3 heads, in 3 circuit’s) that sweep 360*. I put the #8 (8gpm) nozzle in the 360* heads, and #6 (6gpm) nozzle in the rest that sweep 180*. I’ve determined I can put down twice as much water in 30 minutes as I could with the old red #7 (3.4gpm). Thus reducing my pump run time and energy use.

Received sprinkler on time. I ordered the 5 pack. Along with the sprinklers came the various nozzles to install at the right setting. Buying a Hunter sprinkler at the box store you only get the one nozzle that's in the head.Therefore, this order is so superior to box store sprinklers. It allows me to adjust to your specific needs for location and coverage. I will definitely buy this again when the need arises. No more box store sprinklers for me.ThanksCharlie

I use this on a dirty water system, it runs through a sand filter first. they work pretty good on this system

great sprinklers and the enclosed variety of nozzles allows you to customize each sprinkler for the area that you want covered.

Arrived quickly and allowed me to finish my spring time irrigation repairs. The big box stores and local hardware stores don't carry the PGP Ultra line of Hunter irrigation heads which I find superior to the readily available PGP heads.
