Barfly Measuring Cup, 2.5 oz, Copper

I bought this one over ones that looked similar because it says " Internal Measurement lines with markings for greater flexibility." It has the lines due to its shape, but it does not have internal markings. You can almost make out the obverse of the external markings that are stamped in, but you can't read them, unles you use a mirror. This one is way overpriced and not what it advertised. The one that follow in parentheses, appears to be exactly the same and costs less than half as much. I would buy the Franmara instead of the Barfly. I LOVE this measuring device...No drips. No spills. Easy to use. Way way easy to see the marks on the inside. I read some review where somebody was upset that they didn’t have the measuring increment id’s on the inside, but, come on now. If I t’s two lines down on the outside and that’s 2 ounces and it’s two lines down on the inside guess how many ounces that is....I bought 3.

The base can be used for measurements, but there's no indication of the volume, and the base is plated like the exterior. The measurement on the 2 oz side can be misleading. The other issue (although to be fair, this is mentioned), this is not dishwasher safe. My jigger got into the dishwasher by error and it is completely ruined! For these reasons, I do recommend the plated version. I won't return it because I made the error here, but I ordered something else.

Completely inaccurate. I checked against several other jiggers and not even close. Just look at it. The measures are closer together at the bottom then the top even as it gets wider. Can't believe I didn't notice that before I bought it. Too bad because I like the design otherwise.

First of all, this is a great addition to our home bar. Sturdy, includes oz, metric, and tsp/tbsp measurements. The translated measurements is worth it in itself, as I try to convert everything to metric around the house.The one drawback of this, as I suspected before I received it, is the location of the printed measures. It wouldn't make it as pretty, but when measuring, it's most useful to see the number inside the measuring cup. The prints outside are ok to follow, but you have to estimate to what line you're pouring and hope the eyes don't deceive.All in all, great aesthetic and super useful, but the units should be printed on the inside for a purely functional version of this product. Still very glad to have it in the house and use it every cocktail night.

I just started tending bar and am pretty petite. The jiggers at work are double sided and long. I can barely see if the liquor measures are correct since I’m so short. This jigger is of great quality. Nice weight but not heavy. I really appreciate: 1. Measurements are in various increments, printed on the inside and outside in ounces, milliliters, and tablespoons. 2. An indent marks each increment level the entire circumference of the jigger. 3. Measures from 1/2-1-1 1/2-2-2 1/2 ounce(s). It’s made it easier to poor correct measurements for the many signature cocktails I have at work. I’m quickly learning my pour timing.

The biggest problem I have with this whole category is the difficult in reading the measurement marks. The Japanese-style ones are too narrow and usually the largest cup is only 2oz. Since my martinis have 2.5oz gin, I'm forced into two pours. Also the Japanese ones are so narrow, spillage is an issue.Oxo has a pretty good approach - but I like this one because it's light, quick, easy-to-use, and holds nearly 3oz.

Been using other things and saw this item on youtube and immediately came here and seen you could purchase it. This measuring cup is just what I needed instead of using all the others that I currently have. Would recommend this product to anyone. Quality.

Wrong colour! This is supposed to be stainless steel but what I received was black! Not as described on site. Very disappointed. Refund denied. Very dissatisfied

Very solid little piece of kit! Love the grooves on the inside making it easier to see the measurements

Only downside is there is no 3/4oz measurement. But that is no discrepancy from the product description. Other than that, it's super handy to be able to measure 2oz without it overflowing at the top (as the top itself is 2.5oz). it is also useful to have the increments for 2/3rd of an ounce (20ml). In general it is nice having tbsp on one side, ml on the other and oz on the other. Very great tool.

Excelente construcción, le he dado mucho uso y está como nuevo, maravilloso jigger de una marca de la cuál no esperaba menos.
