End Times Bible Prophecy: It’s Not What They Told You (Chronicles of the Apocalypse) Kindle Edition

Had the book a couple of days and read through it. This is pure garbage. Conveniently left out the promises of God to his people and many other scriptures referencing the topics he wished to make christians believe have no relevance to today or our lives now. Agreed... You have to utilize common sense when reading a 2000 year old book written by your creator but that gives no one license to say that everyone else is wrong that has ever preached or taught the word of God. This author lacks the education and the theological credentials necessary to sway me into believing its all just stories from the past, with no bearing or relevance to today or every christians future. Thats hogwash! Even the bible code within the biblical text which of course again is not mentioned or talked about references future events and the players in them. Its one mans view who seems to be Hollywood minded need I say more? and thats all your gonna get from this. I threw mine away, so not to confuse or lead astray any loved ones of mine. I love my fellow christians far too much to deceive or strip away the significance of scriptures within ones life. There is power in the blood and words of our Lord And Savior the scriptures should never be reduced or diminished in any way.

I read this powerful book straight through, in one single sitting. No kidding. It was that compelling -- that much of a page-turner! In "End Times Bible Prophecy: It's Not What They Told You," Brian Godawa offers his insightful, well-researched, and even revelatory take on what is the rightful, most accurate interpretation and understanding of some of the most well-known "end-times prophecies" in the Bible. I highly recommend this book -- both to those who are new to the study of the book of Revelation and eschatology in general (it summarizes the basics very efficiently and understandably), and to those who are more familiar and well-versed in these subjects."End Times" is a rather quick study and presentation -- how I would've loved for the author to go even further and deeper -- but it nevertheless presents compelling, appetite-whetting evidence that what most dispensationalists and futurists have traditionally believed and subsequently proffered to the masses (whether through well-meaning biblical commentary, or popular fiction that "left behind" much of the actual truth of the scriptures, or sensationalized prophecies in the media that ultimately failed) are gross misinterpretations that have misled believers for centuries. I won't go into the details here, because that's what Mr. Godawa wrote the book for, but suffice it to say that his arguments blew my mind...and that ain't easy to do. A MUST-READ!

I Thank The Lord for the many works of Brian Godawa. His book, "End Times Bible Prophecy", has filled numerous holes in my Christian faith, with the truth of biblical scripture. I was one of the young christians who read Hal Lindsey’s book "The Late Great Planet Earth", which immensely twisted my faith. Like so many, I also believed the false prophets who promoted the wayward teachings of "The Late Great Planet Earth".However, as the decades passed, I began to sense something was amiss. The Prophetic charts, of Lindsey's eschatology were constantly changing, and every few years, people were accusing some political leader of being The Antichrist. I discerned many flaws in Lindsey's scheme. He had made several predictions which had flopped badly, and by the year 2,000, I viewed Lindsey, and others like him as false prophets. The Bible studies at our local church where, and still are wrapped up in Lindsey's futuristic scheme. So I withdrew from those shallow studies. By the way, when I told others that the prophecies of Jesus, against the Jews, had been fulfilled in His generation, I was looked upon as a backslidden fool, who had lost his way.Finally, someone has come forward to expose the fallacy of Lindsey's hurtful works. Brian Godawa's "End Times Bible Prophecy" will lead many back to the truths in The Word Of God. Godawa's works will save innumerable wayward Christians from the confusion of false teachings. There are so many self proclaimed prophets, who have created immense damage to our Lords Kingdom, but Brian Godawa has stepped into history with his tenacious works to shake the Church from the despicable, futuristic trance of Matthew 24, which has made several of these modern false prophets very wealthy. I have distributed several copies of Godawa's End Times Bible Prophecy to young christians, and "foundational" christians. I highly recommend "End Times Bible Prophecy: It's Not What They Told You" by Brian Godawa.

Different approach to Bible prophecy. He has some good points, although I did not agree with everything he said. The author has interpreted Bible prophecy in a far different way than most Bible scholars.

I like that it's short - an easy read... But it raises as many questions as it answers. The extensive bibliography will be useful for further investigation and research
