3 half kilo bags arrived with less than a year before expiry
Not everyone bothers about this issue too much. I don't myself to an excessive degree but am aware of it and care more with some produce more than others. I used it past the expiry date and it seems fine - just thought I'd point it out.

Not Gluten-Free as stated in description! Cannot use as I am Coeliac!
I had specifically chosen this item because of its Gluten-Free reference in the description. However, it is not Gluten Free! The packaging is different too - the Natco ground rice I received is in a green plastic bag instead of the red plastic on picture on Amazon, & it clearly states at the back "Allergy advice: May contain traces of wheat gluten..." As a medically diagnosed Coeliac, I cannot risk cross-contamination and, therefore, will have to throw away the whole pack! What a waste!!! The seller would know about this allergy advice, but may not appreciate the severity of cross-contamination for patients medically diagnosed as Coeliacs! Please remove the "Gluten-Free" reference in your description - I noticed today that another person complained about this, but nothing was done about it. Great shame and I am most disappointed. However, I cannot take the risk of traces of gluten in my food!

Great price but not the type i was after.
I was looking to make some chinese cakes. I didnt realise this flour was ground so it isnt soft. Its quite grainy in the cake when cooked and to me wasnt what i was expecting. Maybe i was expecting finely ground flour and this isnt. Its quite coarse..it depends what type youre after.

I use this product in shortbread recipes and also recipes that have biscuit crusts. Makes for a great crunch!

Great for puds!
It’s an old fashioned pudding that’s really nice when one wants a milky dessert. Many ways to make it. I use part whole milk and water, a little sugar and vanilla essence. Not easy to find on our shelves and I’m pleased with this.
