This product is a bit difficult without getting too "graphic". It helps us to be "regular", usually the following morning. Wife and I have been using this for many years. Our doctors totally approve - but you should check with your doctor for any possible drug interactions.,It, with just water, the way my wife likes it, kinda tastes like orange kool aid. I prefer to mix my dose with a combination of half water half orange juice. To me it's "more" orange flavor. This is not a "fast acting" laxative, at least not for use. It, I think, just adds some "bulk" to the digestive system. We look to buy this in the largest size, refilling a same brand small bottle for keeping on the kitchen counter.

Metamucil is great, been taking it for many years but when I started to re-order today I was surprised to see that Amazon switched the package from 130 doses to 114 doses and the price is up to $63 for the 2-pack. You can still get the sugar-free Meta in 130 dose bottles, but not the Meta with real sugar. More disturbing is that Amazon shows my old orders as all being for 114 dose bottles, this while I still have a 130 dose bottle from the last order, sitting right in front of me. I renewed my Costco membership: $39 for 2 bottles of 130 doses each and free shipping. I am very disappointed in Amazon.
