Kempf Natural Coir Coco Doormat, 36 by 72-Inch

I ordered the door mat that is 72” in width and it is huge. Definitely a statement piece coming into our home. It is thick and the dimensions can be unassuming until you see it in person. It’s practically like an area rug. As for shedding, yes it does shed. But this is a natural fiber without a rubber back, so what did you expect....For the price this rug is substantial and very sharp looking.

This is my second time buying this doormat. The first one lasted 6 years. It is very thick, which makes a grand visual impact and the quality is great. As with the nature of any Coir Coco product, it will shed, which is really a non-issue for me. It’s not like it gets stuck to your feet and you track it in your house. I suggest only placing it on a covered patio. If it gets very wet, it takes quite awhile to dry. All in all, the only doormat like this around for the price.

Looks great, love the size. Great for a double door entry. As per previous reviews it does shed and it is heavy. Best bet it to vacumn with a cordless vacumn when needed 'cause it'll take more than one if you want to shake it off

The doormat did not arrive in the scheduled time. They would say on the Fedex sight that they were delivering it each day but they just never showed. I hung around each day so that was not good. I unboxed the mat and although thick it is not bound tightly so when you walk on it you sink in rather then stay on top. Of course it sheds as I expected but I think it is aggravated by the fact it is so loosely bound. Could have been nice but is not. Not worth retuning for the $100 but would not recommend as it is poorly made.

Cons: I would like to return it but it’s so large I will just keep it. I spent $100 thinking it would last at least a year right?! After first use, it is starting to fall apart. It’s woven quite loosely and so is pulling apart and stringy. It’s really sad!Pros: it is huge.

This is the 2nd time I have purchaed. Looks great and stylish on my front porch. Unfortunately, my cat thinks it's a claw toy.
