I really enjoy this coat. I pair it with a sweater for layers, anything colder than 20 degrees so far you need layers. If the wind is blowing layer up you can feel the chill. For going to store to store is beautiful, but long outdoor events layer up ( which is always a good idea) it’s fit and feel wonderful I love all the pockets, it’s a good winter coat. For the price it’s a Good coat. The hood is amazing! Playing outside is amazing. Just remember to wear layers in any winter activities. Plenty room for a scarf and hats to be worn. Tight enough to were you don’t need a scarf or hat. Love this coat all together. Very good product! Very happy for it!

I like this coat - it washes really well (take the fur hood off first) and the white color doesn’t seem to get dirty too easily. I knocked a star off because of the fit. The coat runs large - I ordered a medium because that’s my usual size in tops (34F, size 8, 38-39” chest, slightly broader shoulders and bigger upper arms). I found that the medium fit decently up top but was enormous around the waist and especially around the hips. I looked like I was wearing one of the tent dresses in Animal Crossing. I exchanged it for a size small (you have to pay for return shipping) and the upper body still fits okay, roomy enough for me to wear a medium weight sweater / sweatshirt. However, I find that the coat is not as warm as it should be because the waist and hip area are still too big. For more reference, my waist is 29” and hips are 39”, jeans size 28. The problem is that, since it’s too loose around the bottom and there’s no drawstring to remedy the issue, the cold easily seeps through.I’m keeping the coat because it’s good enough for most winter days in Southern ish Colorado, but I wouldn’t recommend it for someone living further north.

I feel the cold easily and have trouble finding a jacket to keep me warm in the winter. This one is a sure winner. The fit is perfect and the fabrication is comfortable. No issues at all and worth the money. Highly recommended.

I haven't been able to try the coat out yet due to it being in the spring now but I love it. I ordered a large bc I like to layer up in the winter. It's a little big but I'm ok with that. It's comfortable and just trying it on, I know it's going to keep me warm come next winter. It gives you a good fit in the waist and length wise, it covers just past my butt. If you're looking for a coat that's going to keep you warm and is a little stylish, I recommend it!

Warmth/waterproofThis jacket was actually really warm. I was snowboarding in 20 degree weather and I was actually hot. I also wore it around and it kept me extremely hot. The jacket was also waterproof. I was snowboarding in the snow and fell a couple of times and at no point did the jacket get wet.ColorThe jacket I got was the white one. It’s actually a very bright white color. It is also designed for high visability so I was actually kind of easy to spot even in low visability.UtilityThe jacket had a ton of really deep big pockets. It made carrying things around a lot easier. The only downside was that the “phone” pocket (located on the inside of the jacket near the breast area) is actually really small and didn’t even come close to fitting my iPhone 8. It does have a slightly bigger pocket underneath that pocket but if you’re snowboarding or skiing your phone would be in an uncomfortable spot as it pokes you. This isn’t a big deal but it was a little annoying.Material/qualityThe jacket is made from really nice warm materials. It is a bit thicker than traditional snowboarding jackets but it was still really high quality. The stitching was really well done as well. The fur is also really nicely made. It got wet a couple of times and it always dried nicely and has not gotten matted and gross like most other fux fur.OverallI would totally recommend this jacket. I used it around town as well as snowboarding and it did a great job at keeping me warm and dry. It’s a nice fitting jacket and looks actually quite stylish and it’s a thicker coat. The only downside was the phone pocket but it’s just a minor inconvenience.

I'll start by saying I live in Minnesota, it gets down to - 20 with windchill easily. Ive been searching for a coat that can stand the brutal winters here for 25 freaking years. I've tried many different styles, brands, kinds, etc but I've finally found one that will keep me warm ALL WINTER and for at least a few years.I did a ton of looking and comparing before deciding on this coat, I was worried it wouldn't be as perfect as a few others I looked at, that had a higher rating and 4,000 reviews, but I'm SO GLAD I TOOK THE RISK. This coat doesn't have a ton of reviews yet but I promise you, way better than the others with lots of reviews.I never write reviews, but I had to for this coat. It's soft as hell, warm, the freaking fur on the hood is so soft and cozy, it's thick and has a bit of weight when you hold it but somehow doesn't feel heavy when you wear it, 5 whole pockets that are huge, just amazing.I honestly wouldn't change a single thing. Yall can't imagine how long it's taken me to find a coat that can deal with the freezing cold here. FREAKING WORTH IT. 🥰🥰🥰

Pros: beautiful rich purple color, soft fur trim, hood fit well, seemed plenty warm for northern Maine wintersCon: very odd fit in the forearm area - the arms were so uncomfortably tight from elbows to wrists the veins were popping out all over my hands!!! I couldn't get the jacket off fast enough, it was such an uncomfortable sensation.Extremely sad to say I had to return - I'm afraid a larger size would be too big, as the XL I tried was almost too big but I would have kept if it wasn't for the weird arm fit. I will be looking elsewhere.

I have never bought a coat without trying it on , so this was very risky for me to spend this kind of money without seeing it first. I was so happy when I opened the package and put it on. It fit exactly as the ad said it would. I am an XL and this coat still gives ne room to put on a heavy sweater and not feel like it’s too tight. The sleeve length is perfect and it is very warm. I wore it while we had a couple of weeks of -35 weather. I fed horses every day and was very comfortable. The hood is nice and big and even has a drawstring to tighten it up around the face in a blizzard. I like that the collar has fleece on the inside so when you zipper it all the way up it’s soft and warm against the face. It also has a nice little waist adjustment on the side on the outside that allows you to bring in the waist a couple of inches if you want that trimmer silhouette.The only thing that I wish is that it had a real fur trim. Faux fur is ratty and so not high end. All faux fur is made from petroleum products and I would much rather have a trim that is organic.It would look and feel much nicer and be actually being warmer as that what fur does.Other than that I am very happy with this product and am impressed with the quality that Alpine North puts into this product as well as the sizing that is so accurate.

This coat keeps you so warm and toasty. I live in northern Canada and wear this on the coldest days. It is well made and has good deep pockets. My only complaint is the hood it is not very deep fur doesn’t come to the forehead so you need to wear a hat.

Faux fur on hood is not removable so I'm assuming that it can be washed without damaging the fur (??); I wear a size 4 so i ordered a size Small - cut of coat is boxy so coat was too big - ended up returning it for an XS.

Selon le guide des tailles on suggérait de prendre "XL" pour mes mensurations (buste 42, taille 35, hanches 45). C'était trop grand. Et les manches trop longues, je mesure 5'-1". Je crois que le "L" aurait mieux convenu. Mais le manteau est beau même si je l'ai trouvé un peu lourd. Je l'ai retourné.

Coat fits great I went off the measurements given. And you are able to take hood off, super warm. Would definitely buy again I love this coat.
