Cut resistant and sort of heat resistant.
Let's just get this straight this in no way is comparable to chain mail gloves or will fully protect you from a knife. I bought these for kitchen purposes and thought these would be good for certain dangerous tasks in the kitchen. I found out that these tend to just get in the way while cutting. I have accidently cut these gloves and I can say it protects your fingers/hand from the inital paper cut style cut but if you were pressing down cutting then these gloves would not do a thing. I tend to keep my knife rather sharp and when I cut the glove it pretty much made a hole in the glove because it cut the stitching and sort of seperated to cause a small hole. From that point on I just took it off and used my regular hands. However I did end up using these gloves to grab small hot things around the kitchen. Let's also get this straight that these are no substitute for a dry towel or oven mit but for grabbing small fairly warm/hot things then the glove will reduce the heat transfer to your hand. I found somethings you need your fingers to grab certain china wear without getting your towel in them. Overall a decent buy and for the price I can't complain too much but I think there could be better cut resistant gloves out there.

XL size is more like medium to large.
The product does protect against sharp metal. But the hand size is wrong. The XL size is very tight fight for large hand.Because they are a knit, there is just enough give so as to fit a large into the XL glove.I am not wearing them for work just for lifting with a barbell.

my current favorite gove.
these have become my go to under glove liner. i can't wear latex or other medical/food gloves with out liners and these have been great. these are a bit on the thick size, but they are durable and still allow me enough "touch sensitivity" that i can turn screws, bolts or write.while i love these gloves and they are my current "go to" glove, i still feel that these make my sense of touch a bit too numb.

Too small for XL
I have a pair of Kevlar kitchen gloves that are about 15 years old. I decided to buy a second pair in case the old ones become unusable in the near future. These gloves are very small. It does not say on the label where they were manufactured but these are XL for Chinese hands. Barely fits my hands and that with a lot of struggle.

Very helpful
I use these gloves (along with the matching Kevlar sleeves) working around the house doing various projects and pruning thorny plants in the garden. Successfully protects my hands from bumps, bruises and punctures.

Save your hands
I'm a glassblower and have to go through my shards bucket all the time to sort out colored and clear glass for recycling. I would always get a deep cut which to my callused hands is more annoying than painful. These gloves allow me to get pretty aggressive grabbing the glass and sorting through some nasty edged stuff. Also use them to handle reasonable hot things that are done with annealing but still over 200F.

OK but has short comings
After a few hours of carving, the fabric started to fray and made it collect carving chips sticking to the gloves. Had to keep stopping and remove tons of chips from glove.

To large
To large for my hands got in the way of my whittling.

Three Stars
Fairly thin and flimsy.

Completely worthless. Basically just yellow dyed cotton gloves.
The media could not be loaded. Β It is not cut resistant in the slightest. Fake product. See video

Knit is too coarse
I'm sure the gloves do exactly what they say in being cut resistant but the weave of the knit is too coarse for my purposes. They get fuzzy after wearing them for a bit and then the fibers get snagged on wood grain etc. If I was wearing a larger nitrile glove over them I wouldn't have that issue, which would also help with the other issue of them being a bit slippery when grasping something smooth like a knife handle. I ended up buying other pairs with the rubberized fingers and palm and they suit my use much better.

Poor sizing, gave 4 stars because it is kevlar
The fabric is a lot thinner then the gloves I was using purchased 5 years prior. Be mindful of the sizing, these run smaller and even when the hand fit is good, the fingers are still too thin.
