Great lusty series, learn some history too!
The whole series is a pleasure to read. It works best if you read them in order and read the whole series. The story will make sense and come together as a full saga should. There are great love scenes, sex scenes and full carnality. So hold onto your hat. If you are squeamish about MFM or FFM or any combo of the sexes during sex, skip these books. But if you read Kate Pearce, you should be comfortable with her comfort with the carnality she presents and you should enjoy the story line and the lusty scenes she uses to progress the story. All the Heroes and heroines are strong people who finally get the love they deserve. Although in some cases it takes years and a number of books before their love life is fulfilled.Mixed in these hot scenes is the history of Napoleon, the French Revolution and the early history of spying amongst the English and French. Amazing how Kate Pearce has the time lines flowing, the sex steaming and the story combusting.Be prepared for some frustration as some of the H's and h's require a little push to get where they are meant to be, but you will enjoy the process as they sometimes miss a step or two, or they eventually get where they are meant to be, physically and romantically.Enjoy the series before heading to the Sinners Club books. You may meet some of these old friends in that series too.

Simply Carnal
I bought the first six Simply EBooks when I first got my kindle, The book is the only one that I thought was a romance . Some made me cringe trying to read them. Christain Delornary runs the high class brothel for his mother Helene. He is jaded from so much sex yes he has had sex with men.He is not gay like all her other men in her books that just loves the one woman of course he shares the bed with another man. Elizabeth Smith comes to the House of Pleasure half starved offering to do anything to work there. There are a lot of secrets that she hides from Christain and others. They do become lovers have to overcome a lot of problems before the HEA. This is the only Simple Book in the series that I think will have one. In all her other books the man shows his true feelings is back at the Pleasure house or other places with the man. I haven't seen any of the gays that love women in the medical profession I'm in.

Simply curl your toes reading
Once again Miss Pearce has written a story to have you reading until the wee hours of the morning. Well-written characters, who you want to have a happily ever after not just because, but because you want them to be happy. A little bit of a mystery in this story, which made it an especially fun read. On to book 8. How many are left? I hope a lot more.

"Simply Delicious"
I don't want to go into details and don't have time to give this book justice, but I really enjoyed this book and I only give reviews on the books I like. You all can read other's reviews and a brief description of the story, so the only thing I will tell you is it's a really good story with great sex. Elizabeth and Christian continue a tug of wills and war with each other and you throw sex in there, and it makes for a delicious read. There is suspense behind what Elizabeth is running from and of course a conclusion. With that briefly said I don't think you will be disappointed. It really is hot.

An interesting read
3.5 Stars. I wasn't sure what this book was at first but the title should have tipped me off. It is erotica with a bit of romance thrown in.In the beginning I found it very difficult to read as it deals with issues such as abuse. The abuse of the heroine , both in her past and her present.By the middle of the book I was very intrigued and wanted to find out the secrets she held. I ended up liking the hero towards the end as he finally comes to his senses, moves beyond his past to claim the present and future with the heroine.I didn't realise this was book no. 7 in a series until I read the other reviews.

An interesting story
Kate Pearce continues to delight with a great story told in series of lies between the characters. The sexual situations are still well written and the characters are interesting. I recommend this book for you.
